Absolute bunch of cowboys
Absolute bunch of cowboys, had my car for nearly a month and still not ready, would never use their services again
If it could give minus 1 I would !
They supposed fixed my car in Kings Lynn then it came back with noise took it back they blamed me saying I hit pothole (no mark, dent or crack on new tyre they replaced from no fault crash) then said it was wheel arch noise when I made lock right .
Took my car to Kia where they said it was alignment arm bent they , steer are still saying they will not fix it when I said you should have fixed it the first time. I have copied in ceo RICHARD STEER in email ...nothing so if he doesnt care NOBODY does!
Top it off my door has alignment issues and they cant blame that on a pothole !!!
Did a great job
Did a great job, took a long time due to backlog of parts around xmas time. I would recommend this garage.
Extremely Disappointed
Pronto Long Eaton Car Garage – Extremely Disappointed
I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Pronto in Long Eaton following a non-fault accident that required a simple door repair on my brand-new vehicle (less than a month old). What should have been a straightforward insurance repair turned into an absolute nightmare.
To begin with, it took over two weeks just to repair a single door. When the car was finally returned, it was in worse condition than before the accident. The repaired door made a crunching noise when opening, which it never did even after the accident. That alone was bad enough, but it didn’t stop there.
The car came back with scratches and marks on areas that were never involved in the accident. There was primer overspray all over the interior, including the bonnet, because they clearly didn’t take the time or care to mask the vehicle properly during painting. This level of carelessness is completely unacceptable, especially on a nearly new vehicle.
Due to their poor workmanship, the car had to be sent back for a second repair. You’d expect better the second time around — but no. When they returned it again, the car had barely any electric charge left, even though they promised to recharge it. It came back with a low battery warning and a red triangle, leaving me stressed and scrambling to find a charger.
To top it off, communication throughout the whole process was virtually non-existent. No updates. No explanations. Just delays and poor-quality work.
Honestly, I don’t understand how insurers are still using this garage. It feels like they’re cutting corners to save money, and customers like me are the ones paying the price.
Would not recommend to anyone. If your insurer suggests Pronto, I highly advise requesting a different repairer.
Thanks to rob at pronto
After the last review rob has been so helpful rang back when he said he would did what he said he would car back with me now it’s looking great thanks only issue is they have list my Volvo car mats rob is sorting this out thanks rob for all ur customer care
I don’t think I’ve ever met a company…dreadful service
I don’t think I’ve ever met a company like this, my car came in after a small accident, I was never told how long it was going to take to repair the damage, I had a holiday booked and they promised my car would be back for me to go away, alas the day came and after 2 weeks my car hadn’t been touched so delayed holiday for a week as promised it would be finished, alas no car and still not repaired, I’ve now had 3 messages from you to say car finished when I find out it’s not even been painted yet, delayed holiday for another week to find out today car is no where near done and will be finished by Wednesday, I asked to book a delivery spot for Thursday and was told as car not done yet they can’t book it in, I asked to speak to someone higher to complain and the phone was put down on me, stay clear of this company 1 star is far to good for them
Pronto Accident Repair Centre Long Eaton.
As a result of an accident on December 2024 I was advised by my insurers to use Pronto Accident Repair Centre in Long Eaton to repair my vehicle. I was initially reticent to use them as they were not local, however it was a good move to use them. After the initial bit of getting insurers to agree to a repair and not write off etc a courtesy car was organised for me and it was delivered direct to my home first thing in the morning as promised and had sole use of the vehicle until mine was repaired. During the interim period I was kept informed of progress or not by Paige at pronto who was a real diamond and an asset to Pronto. with excellent customer focused skills, I developed a rapport and when there was no progress or delay in getting a part, I was told the truth and kept up to date at all times. As well as Paige the other person I had contact with was Scarlett who too had excellent customer service skills. I finally got my own vehicle back on Friday 24 January and was first delivery of the day to my home. The main reason for the 6 week timescale was that Christmas and New Year holidays happened. When delivered to me the vehicle had been through a thorough Quality Check and was delivered back to me well valeted. I can honestly say that I would have no hesitation in recommending Pronto at Long Eaton to anyone. Thank you for the excellent service I received.
Steer benton
Steer benton. Absolutely would not recommend this garage at all. Put my car in from an insurance claim as one of the insurances recommended garages!! Start to finish is an utter joke! First off tell me cars ready so go to collect it. And they've botched jobed my headlight, not even sitting in flush, gaps around where the plastics meet the headlight and u can clearly see where they've tried glueing it in. So refuse the car and they are going to sort it. Less than 24 hours later receive an email to say cars completed. Call the company and speak to the receptionist that confirms the cars ready for collection, when I question what they've done and replaced as it's less than 24 hours since they've had the car back she is insistent that they got "straight on the job but will get someone to ring me back with specifics" someone calls me back to tell me cars not ready and they are busy working on it, and that they didn't send no email nor did reception tell me it's complete when I argued this he got "well I'm not sure why they've said that" so they have as much communication as a chocolate fire guard!! Get another email 24 hours after this to say cars ready!! Go to collect the car and the plastics still haven't been replaced but spray painted black and this is aware because the scratches that were on the plastics are still there. However the gaps are gone so because I just wanted my car back I accepted it as it's definitely better than first time. Drove home in the light parked up. Fast forward a couple hours and go to drive in the dark to realize they've not refitted the light bulb in my car headlight they've supposedly replaced!! Company is an absolute joke, con artists and anything to cut corners to make a quick buck on insurance jobs!! I will be making a formal complaint aswel as a formal complaint to the insurance company about their choices of "highly recommended garages"!!
Steer- ZERO customer service!
Steer Bourne show totally ZERO customer service! Isn't is a matter of common courtesy to answer a customer query (15 days ago!) even if they know they aren't capable of carrying out the work? Disgusting!
I recently had my motorhome in for…
I recently had my motorhome in for repairs and experienced a lack of communication from the service center. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them for information, they provided excuses and failed to keep me updated on the progress. After approximately three months, they informed me that they were unable to locate the necessary part and abruptly ended the conversation.
I would advise against using their services due to the unprofessional and unsatisfactory manner in which they handled my repair.
Repair wasn't done properly
Was informed my vehicle was ready to collect after being repaired.. I had hit a deer the previous week. I was given the keys and car was filthy dirty and after they cleaned it I noticed that the repairs hadn't been done as I was informed. Result was a morning off work yet again.. not willing to sort the problem satisfactorily.
Changed my mind after becoming suspicious due to dubious service and coming here
I haven't taken my car for repair here yet, I became concerned after what appeared to be a total lack of communication between them and my insurer, phone calls to them are met with a message "You are number one in the queue" then mostly get hung up as it's not answered, only managed to get through twice in about 12 times, then when I tried to arrange the repair they told me they'd need the car about 10 days to replace the mirror and indicator parts of the wing mirror which is less than an hours work, more like 15 minutes, the mirror clips out and three screws allow changing the indicator, then they were supposed to call me back next day but took 3 days, on my last call the guy could hardly speak English, this is when I decided to come here and look at reviews as all these things made me suspect that this place was not very good, and boy am I glad I did, I've decided to do it myself, got parts sourced at £28, if this was done by my main dealer I could have taken it down and waited an hour and drove it home. Even body work and spraying have only take 2-3 days at other places.
I'll be calling my insurer to tell them to forget it, I'm doing it myself and I won't be using them again, probably go back to my previous insurers. a little more expensive but far better.
Customer service and communications…
Customer service and communications excellent. Regular updates on repair progress. They had my Tesla for 9 days to replace the boot. Excellent results looks perfect.

This company has lied to me from day one a 3 day repair has taken 10 days and over 4 weeks in time to do the work on my car which was just a scuff on front wheel, I took the vehicle out to test drive and the vehicle pulls terribly to the left in fact very badly to the left , after talking on phone to the manager Martin who told me the car would be checked and washed before delivery to myself the car was delivered filthy and pulled badly to the left this is the worst service I have received from a company ever , lie after lie keep away from this company very very poor.

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs .
Their customer service is awful . Gave me a courtesy car with no window screen wash in . The passenger seat was stuck in one position and the fuel gauge was faulty . Had this car for ten days which was a Vauxhall corsa . It did not suit my needs as my car was big to suit my mobility .
When bringing my own car back they did not put fuel in it and inside was dirty despite being told it would get a full valet .
As this was organised through my insurance company I assumed the excess would be paid to them but instead received a text with a link to pay pronto . The link was dodgy as it took payment £100 but it went wrong as they didn’t receive it . After calling the bank they said it went into pending and if unclaimed would bounce back to me on Monday as it was a Friday .
The manager Jodie was rude she said if I didn’t pay again they would have to take my car back despite me explaining the situation . I refused to pay again but I already had my car keys so no way was my car going back . Three phone calls later they ageeed I could pay it on Monday but I found the whole situation unprofessional and upsetting . I was home alone and to have a man saying I need your keys back I got take the car back till you pay again gave me severe anxiety . I was so upset to have been treated in this way . I reported them to motorbility and direct line and I hope they get a warning for the disgusting customer service . Who sends a text for payment ? The manager admitted there had been issues as they now took over by Lovells . So a little understanding would of gone along way
Steer Bourne - excellent service
Steer Bourne provided excellent, efficient and friendly service, repairing my car promptly. It was collected and returned to my address at times to suit me.
Thank you Steer
