I was in Propergeeks in March 2026 to have more storage added to my elderly Mac Book Air. I was given a clear, detailed cost and a pick up date of a few days later. After collecting the Mac, I had a few queries which were quickly and clearly explained and dealt with.
I have used Propergeeks in the past and would recommend them 100% - hence the 5 star review

I took a laptop made in 2009 to the Proper Geeks and asked if they could install WORD however due to the age of the machine it was a security risk and unfortunately they said they couldn't download the appropriate version of WORD for that reason.
(The laptop was my Dad's and he died in 2024, my niece wanted to keep using it just for typing up notes and copying them to a usb).
I said I'd come in the next week to pick it up.
However a few days later they rang to say they'd had a search and did in fact have a disc with WORD on it that they could install so everything turned out great !
They weren't the closest place I could've gone to for help though, there was a closer computer place to me but you had to make an appointment...
Proper Geeks don't mind your daft questions either and don't make you feel like a twit for asking.

absolutely fantastic my dad is housebound and has just moved to supported living his main internet and computer since having a stroke has kept him with some independence. After not being able to get connected to the internet Sam Coathup prioritised a vulnerable elderly man and went over and above his job I cant thank you enough neither can my dad excellent company

I cannot thank ProperGeeks enough for their time this morning. They helped me no end with my computer issue and explained everything in plain speak. Have given me alot of confidence in my ability to use different programs. So reassured to know they are at the end of the phone. Thank you ProperGeeks, you are amazing!!

I have been with Propergeeks since 2012. They have looked after all my computer needs in a highly professional, friendly and supportive manner. I have recently purchased a new computer 8 August 2024 after receiving expert advice as to which one would suit my needs and budget. Mathew, a perfect gentleman, delivered, set up my system and took me through its operational features. He made the whole process from purchasing to set up a absolute joy. I have no hesitation in recommending Propergeeks to all my friends and work colleagues and do so all the time. The whole team lead by owner Steve are brilliant and they really are 'proper geeks' - although, they speak in a language l can understand with regard to computer technology.

Top of the range for quality and service. I’ve purchased IT equipment from these guys previously and they and the equipment never let me down. Today, I employed them to support my son who was taking part in a video conference. Chris, one of their IT guys, called and set up everything, making sure that everything run smoothly, right up until the conference began, which it did. His technical knowledge and help was second to none. Highly recommended. 10/10.

My DELL laptop lost it's WIFI connection.
PROPERGEEKS were excellent and it was fixed without any delay.
I recommend their efficient service.

What a great group of lads ! Very knowledgable, friendly and professional.
They talked me through what was needed to fix my PC, including timelines and costs and they stuck to it perfectly.
I was updated every step of the way.
