I have just began using this company and had 1 little problem which was resolved very quickly and satisfactory
As far as quality of food goes, you really must give them a try. Better tasting food than your local supermarkets by far

I have ordered my meat from this company several times and have never been disappointed with the quality and freshness of the produce, unlike other well known meat companies that I have tried in the past. I will definitely be staying with this company, very pleased not only with the quality and freshness of the produce, it arrives when they say it will and their customer service response should you need it, is second to none!

Ok lets go. I had originally order 6L of liquid egg whites from these guys for £23 incl flat rate delivery of £5, great price. However the package was delivered to my neighbours while they were out with no delivery note left behind.

When I got the package it was a complete mess! the whole bottom was soaking and there were holes in the box. It turned out that 1 carton had exploded and 1 of the icepacks as well. This was down to the courier's poor handing of the package, they had obviously dropped it at some point.

I took pictures and sent them to PFD and they phoned me the same day to appologize. A few days later I recieved another box which contained my original order plus some very nice extras free of charge for the inconvenience so I was very pleased!

Long story short I would definitely recommend these guys despite the circumstances as it was not their fault, but the fault of careless handling by a CRAP DELIVERY COMPANY!

Great prices and even better service!

Prices are excellent but the website and packaging needs updating ASAP, sending out food with no nutritional info on it or nothing on the website, any chance they all could be updated as it kind of puts me off as I don't know what I'm getting nutrition wise with alot of the goods on your website.

Found this company after many bad experiences with Musclefood and so glad I did! The orders have been outstanding! Much better food than in store or from musclefood and cheaper as well! Couriers were excellent to! One little gripe is could of been another ice pack in each but food was cold to be fair!

Made several orders with protein foods and have never been let down. The quality of food is excellent and customer care is second to none. Delivery has always been on time and fresh so as long as the prices stay reasonable I will kerp reordering and spreading the word!

oh and the new fajita chicken is lovely :)

Have now placed three orders with PFD including chicken breast, lite beef mince, steaks, protein powder and egg whites. Other than one steak which had a bit too much griddle on I really can't fault the food quality and the prices are competitive. However two gripes:

1 - how can you be a company aimed primeraly at those looking to eat healthy and not display nutritional inform for all products online?!

2 - on every occasion, despite entering in the comment section of the order form that the side gate would be open (and I was willing to take the risk of the order being left behind the gate), my order has been left literally outside my front door for everyone to see, and not once has an accompanying delivery card been posted through the door. Could have easily tried to rip off PFD by ringing up and asking where my order was as there was no proof of delivery.

In my opinion, carry on with the great products but ditch the delivery firm - and get your web team to add the nutritional data to the website!

Just had my second 20kg order of chicken breasts from protein foods direct. I cant recommend them enough for product (chicken breasts of good size/dont shink when cooked/ include the the mini fillet). Long may they stay that way (compared to main competitor whose quality is going downhill on this front), Price point is spot on compared to competitor also. Delivery despatch/arrival perfect on both occasions. Also the occasion I last contacted customer services via the instant chat was a good experience also. Got answers immediately. I already have another another booked and will continue to use them as long as the product and service stay like this.

The quality and price is amazing!

Considering how much cheaper than other bulk meat produce suppliers these guys are, I thought the quality would suffer... wrong. Delivered on time, fresh, no complaints for me and I'll definitely be using them again.

Decided to give this website a try. Absolutely love it. My steak and chicken arrived beautifully packaged and taste perfect. No smell, no weirdness, nothing. Just like walking into Tesco's and buying it from the store, except this saves way more money! Ordering here from now on.

Having tried all of the 'rival' companies and had issues with ALL of them, from packaging issues, to gone off food, even bad customer service, I was delighted to find that I had NO issues at all with Protein Foods Direct!! The food is of the highest quality, the prices are fantastic, it all arrived safe and sound without any damage - I literally couldn't of asked for more...

Excellent Chicken Breasts! As mentioned. Does not shrink in size.... lasted for a month for me.

If you're a full time carnivore such as myself you need not look any further than this site. I bought what would have cost £180 in Tesco for £90 delivered to my door. It came well packaged with ice to keep it chilled. The quality of the meat is also better than your average supermarket with no water pumped into the chicken breast. I now order once a month, save myself some money and eat like a king.

Highly recommended. This will now become our regular meat provider =)

Food was excellent, great value and well packaged. No problems at all for my first order which is more than I can say for 2 previous suppliers!

I have always been wary of buying my meat online, due to freshness and quality not always being guaranteed, but the produce from Protein Foods Direct came in extremely good condition and brilliant for my needs as an athlete. The chicken breast was extremely tasty in my evening risotto and I will definitely be buying again from here.
