Pricing changed during checkout – Provence Gems experience

I configured an oval hidden halo moissanite ring in 10k yellow gold, size 6. The price showed about $550 after selecting the options. About 10 minutes later, when I refreshed the page, the exact same configuration increased to almost $900.

When I contacted the seller, they told me the earlier price was based on an “outdated gold valuation.” That explanation didn’t make much sense given how quickly the price changed.

They then offered me a “special influencer discount” of 15%, bringing the price down to about $751. While presented as a generous exception, this still left the price hundreds of dollars higher than what I had originally seen just minutes earlier.

Overall, the experience felt misleading and left me with little confidence in the transparency of their pricing. I would not recommend anyone to buy from them or from any business that uses these types of practices.

Dear , we hear you loud and clear. Your skepticism is justified, and we sincerely apologize for the lack of clarity.
We are a direct-to-consumer manufacturer, and our goal is to provide luxury quality without the traditional retail markup. The jump from $550 to $884 was a result of a major system update that caught you at the worst possible moment. We also realize that our 'Influencer Discount' felt like a band-aid rather than a real solution.
We’ve built Provence Jewelry over 22 years on a foundation of honesty. We’d love to show you the true heart of our business. Please reach out to our management team directly; we are committed to finding a fair middle ground for your engagement ring.

I had a great experience

I had a great experience. Buying an engagement ring can indeed be overwhelming. However, Provence provided excellent assistance throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend it.

Well

Well, after placing the order, I saw some negative stuff about provence on reddit, which kinda made me worried. But yesterday, when I received the ring, I was really satisfied. Oh, by the way, my representative is ada, and she's awesome.

Whoa

Whoa, I never thought I'd be asked to review here after six months. I found out about Provence on Reddit. Had two shopping experiences. Both times it was Ada following up on my orders. There were some little glitches in the middle, but overall it was okay.

I just received my upgraded ring for…

I just received my upgraded ring for our 6 years wedding anniversary, and I totally adore it! I bought a K color one, and honestly, I couldn't even tell that it's K color at all. The top looks totally white, and I love the sparkle of it. I also chose the excellent cut, and I was really concerned about that. Luckily, their customer service is superb!

Alright

Alright, I got my ring a year ago ,about 6 months ago, two side stones of my ring just went missing and I sent it back to get fixed without having to pay for the shipping. But still, I feel like provence really needs to step up their game and improve the quality.
