Price gouging working class families
My energy bill has tripled over the last 7 years. PSE rates are out of control and I doubt that working class families will be able to sustain hikes to electricity and gas. What family can pay $400 a month year-round to heat heir home? Gone are the days when I would receive a $80 summer bill. If you look closely, PSE's time of use programs are incredibly restrictive. Save money if you stay within the program. Use outside the program hours and they penalize you with a much higher rate. Those random restrictions put profit over people. At what point does a utility have the power to make families choose between power and food?
