Professional, personable and interested in your needs

March - April 2024.
We reached out to Garrett Marders landscaping business for lawn repairs after getting a lead from one of our other contractors. He responded the same day and scheduled a time to review our job and provided the estimate within a few days.
Rain delays occurred, but the lawn repair was still completed in time for grass growing season. Of note, we came to find out that while Garrett started his business in lawn scaping, as he built the business he moved on to mostly hardscaping but he did take on our job.
Garrett brought the heavy equipment and a seasoned helper (Collin) to help him. The lawn was heavily tilled, new dirt brought in to fill uneven areas and leveled. Then grass seed, straw and straw blankets were laid. Lastly, he brought a few boulders and put them in place for us.
We only waited this long to write a review because we wanted to see how the lawn repairs would look after watering for several months.
The reason for the 4 star rating: Overall the lawn looks good but we did have to re-seed all areas after the straw blankets (on hill) were taken up and other laid straw killed the seed. After 2 months of consistent watering, there are still many bare spots. It's too hot now to do anything more, so we'll get back to hauling in more dirt and re-seed again in the fall.
Overall very good experience with PTG Landscaping. The job was completed when promised and cost was very reasonable. We would hire again for any landscaping projects.
