Frustrating to Upload Here

Have uploaded over 7,000 images. Lately, getting more and more declines due to "same image or similar already uploaded."

I check to see if I have already uploaded an image and obviously do not want to waste time uploading the same thing. So when I get declined it's really aggravating. Wondering what bozo there is checking.

Lastly, I seek to upload quality images and not just upload rinky dink works. Wish they would do a better job checking.

Free? PD? Where?

I am looking for a place where I can contribute my photos and drawings for free, without payment.
Which, I understand, is Public Domain.
This is something I would expect when going to a site called PublicDomainPictures.
But no, this is just another picture selling site. Commercial. Which I hate and don't want.
Am I able to easily upload a photo, declare it as PD and that's that? Why do I get nowhere except being offered to pay for something I don't want?
Why not make it easy for people?
Why not leave commercial stuff elsewhere?
This is very disappointing.

Scam site

Scam site. I've tried to delete my account or at least remove my premium membership for months now, but it's not possible from the website.

I've contacted them multiple times with no reply. And you don't get an email confirming that you've sent them an email, so you cannot prove you've tried to cancel your membership (I have taken screenshots of my messages and found their email through this site). I ended up removing my recurring payment directly from PayPal admin site.

Dear Anda, I'm sorry you had bad experience but you are supposed to cancel premium membership through PayPal. PayPal manages the subscriptions as it's stated on the website.

I am a contributor on the site

I am a contributor on the site and have uploaded some 1,109 photos I have taken and absolutely love the site. The one review I read complains they can't remove their photos from the site - you do realize once you place your photos into the public domain, they stay in the public domain, forever. You can't simply place them into the public domain one week, than three weeks later decide you want to remove them, that's not how public domain works, once placed there they become available to everyone.
I would also like to address an issue I keep coming across on other sites, that claim you need to purchase the photos you use from this site, which is not true. The pages of free public domain photos has some stock photos across the top of the page as well as across the bottom of the pages, those stock photos you do have to pay to use them, but the bulk of the photos which show up on searches are absolutely free to use. In the years I have been there I have never once had any problems with the site nor with the people running it, it is top notch in my opinion.
