A dream of a lifetime came true
Thank you so much Pundamilia for making our dreams come true, we really didn't believe we could have made it to the top of Africa.
Without Richard and Elisha, we definitely couldn't have made it to the top. We met with Richard two days before beginning our Kilimanjaro hike via the Rongai route, who told us what to expect from day one to the last day, he was very informative and well experienced and professional, we could tell by just how he was explaining things. He made sure we had all the gears and clothing required for a successful hike. More emphasis was kept on the safety and the altitude symptoms and what to look for.
We met Elisha on day one of the hike, where as he was very charming and the most funny one. Every day morning before the beginning of the day and evenings before going to bed, they always checked our temperature, heartbeat and oxygen levels to make sure we were within safety standards, which gave me and my husband a warm and fuzzy feelings on what capable hands we were on.
The chef David is absolutely exceptional, even though we are vegetarians, he went absolutely above and beyond to make sure everything was in our satisfactions and a lot of food always remained. Thanks for the yogurt, good protein for us especially in this type of adventure. The whole crew is also amazing, thanks to Deus, always on time to wake us up, bringing us warm water for washing up every morning, coffee in the tent, absolutely marvellous 😀.
The summit night was the biggest challenge, I almost turned back more than 5 times, but Richard always kept me on my toes and motivated me to keep on moving and to not give up. Thanks Richard and Elisha for helping me and my husband with our daypacks on the night.
Their is a lot to say but, all in all I can just say thank you so much Pundamilia and your whole team for making our dream come true.
