Seamless Adoption Process

The PureBred Kitties team made the adoption process smooth and seamless. From the selection process to the delivery, they were in constant contact with me, giving updates, sending videos, and answering my questions. I received my kitten yesterday. He is even more delightful than the pictures/videos were able to depict. I can tell that he was well cared for; he is calm and very affectionate. I would definitely use PureBred Kitties for my next family member.

10/10

Communication from the adoption agents and breeder was very fast - in fact it occurred just a few minutes after placing my adoption reservation. I was confident that my kitty would arrive to me quickly and safely, and that she would be healthy. I was set with all of the resources I needed from the breeder to answer any questions.

My Main Coon Kitty

My wife an I adopted a beautiful Main Coon kitten. He arrived at our house very healthy and happy. He quickly adjusted to his new surroundings and was totally comfortable with my wife and I and acted like he had always lived with us. It was truly amazing! He is a very friendly with a loving personality and it was obvious that the breeder raised the kitten with a lot love and care.

Also, the adoption team did an outstanding job in getting our new kitten to us safely and without incident.

A wonderful experience!

I absolutely loved working with the company! I was worried at first, as we've never purchased a kitten from them, but we had a great experience. Everyone was very helpful and quick to help solve any issues we were having. They helped us to pick out the perfect date along with ensuring she arrived safe and comfortable. We worked with Kim, a specialist. She walked me through anything I needed help with, along with asking the breeder any questions I may have had and giving me the answers. The team really did a great job allowing me to feel at ease. I got regular updates including videos of Luna and her progress. The cargo transport was easy and safe. She came with a food and water bowl, along with a pad to ensure she could use the restroom if she needed to do so. Overall, I would definitely choose to work with them again when getting a kitten.

UPDATE - DO NOT GET A CAT FROM THEM

UPDATE - they want to refund me 500$ as a “gesture”. Mind you the cat came with upper respiratory infection, conjunctivitis, ear infection, giardia, coccidia AND RINGWORM. She passed ringworm to me, my husband and 4 of my other cats. AND THE CAT IS ALSO A GIRL!!! I purchased a boy. Again - do not get any kittens from them
DO NOT PURCHASE A CAT FROM THEM - I was sold an extremely sick cat (conjunctivitis, upper respiratory infection, ear infection and 2 parasites) AND the wrong gender cat - I purchased a boy and got a girl. Spent almost 2k in vet bills and no response from them about the refund. I’m opening a law suit if anyone wants to join me
They claim the cat was vet checked but upon delivery the breeder handed us antibiotic pills and antibiotic eye drops. Why would they have done so if the cat was healthy?? Besides the cat came to us straight from europe. The breeder barely spoke any english and the meds were written in russian!!! They were NEVER under your care in the usa
And ringworm takes 10 days to flare up - mind you she came showing signs of it.

Trinity (her name is Good Night now) was purchased as a MALE cat, and I made sure to double check with Maria that it was a male cat which Maria did confirm it was a male cat. During the whole time before pick up everyone in the company was very responsive and helpful. The day arrives and my husband flies all the way to NYC to pick the cat up - mind you this is a 6h flight. We have been communicating since the beginning to make sure everything went smoothly. He arrives there 3h in advance to make sure he has enough time to pick up the cat, check back in to his plane back. The problem started there: the breeder arrived SUPER LATE, giving my husband 20 MINUTES only till the departure of his plane. He had no time to talk to the breeder at all. The breeder gave him eyedrops “in case her eyes get dry” and pills “in case she gets sick on the plane”. It was a super stressful situation because my husband had to beg people at TSA line to let him go through or he would miss his flight - mind you a 500$ flight ticket.
Luckily people were nice to him and allowed him to go through and he made it, barely.
So he gets home and I instantly notice this cat is not okay. It’s eyes are oozing pus and it’s sneezing nonstop. We bring it to an emergency hospital the next day and we found out that the cat has conjunctivitis, an upper respiratory infection AND an ear infection. AND WE ALSO FOUND OUT THE CAT IS A SHE!!!!! When I made sure to confirm it was a male cat because I wanted a male cat specifically. That’s when the vet bills started pilling up. First vet bill is $395.64.
As the days go by, she’s taking her meds but she starts to have some diarrhea. Some days her stool is fine, some days it’s liquid. We assumed it was stress, new house and etc so we try to heal her with some probiotics made for diarrhea. It’s a constant in and out of the diarrhea situation. As we are trying to talk to you guys to get the refund for her vet bills, the diarrhea gets worse and we notice blood in her stool. At this point her stool is literally a clear jello and she also starts vomiting. Me and my husband BOTH miss a full work day to sit with her at the pet emergency care hospital yesterday, nov 3rd. She gets all tests done. Another $719.24 bill. So far we’re at $1114.88 paid OUT OF POCKET, not counting with the diarrhea medication and special food we purchased to try to get her better in the mean time, or the lost days of work me and my husband had to take to bring her to the hospital. We’re both under a line of work that if we don’t work, we don’t make money.
Today I get a call from the vet stating her tests are back and she tested positive not for one, but for TWO parasites that, according to her vet she had it before she came to us, and that’s why she has been having diarrhea since the day we got her and because neither her or any of my other cats have any contact with the outside world. And all my other cats are extremely heathy and never had any health issues at all.
And as for today, when I left my work earlier to pick up her meds, the total bill for today’s meds were $209. Which brings our vet bills total to $1323.88.
Mind you I have another cats - what if they get sick too??? Do you have ANY IDEA on how serious this situation is?? And then I email you as you requested and I don’t get any answer back?
So I brought the issue to my lawyer and he’s ready to work with me on this case with me. According to him this is an easy win, so he’s just waiting me on my GO, but because I’m VERY NICE I wanted to try talking to you one last time before I proceeded with more drastic measures.

We are truly sorry to hear about the distress and frustration you are experiencing, and we understand how upsetting this situation has been for you and your family. We appreciate you taking the time to explain your concerns in detail.

At Purebred Kitties, the health and wellbeing of our cats is extremely important to us. We want to reassure you that we do not sell sick cats. Every kitten that leaves our care is examined by a licensed veterinarian, properly vetted, and cleared as healthy prior to departure, with veterinary documentation confirming this status at the time of transfer.

That said, we recognize how stressful it is to welcome a new kitten and then face unexpected health concerns. Upper respiratory symptoms, gastrointestinal upset, and similar conditions can sometimes arise after relocation, particularly following air travel, environmental changes, or exposure to new surroundings. These situations are unfortunately well-documented in kittens, even when they have been cleared by a veterinarian beforehand.

Regarding parasites, some conditions may remain asymptomatic or not detectable during a routine wellness exam, and a later diagnosis does not necessarily indicate that the condition was present, active, or known prior to pickup.

We also sincerely apologize for the distress caused by the gender misidentification. While rare, this can occasionally occur in young kittens and is never intentional. In such cases, our policy is to offer the option to return the kitten, at which point a refund will be issued once the cat is safely returned to us, in accordance with our terms and conditions.

We understand how overwhelming unexpected veterinary expenses can be, which is why we offered a goodwill refund as a gesture of support, despite the kitten being cleared by a veterinarian prior to leaving our care and in line with our health guarantee terms.

We truly regret the stress this situation has caused. At this time, we stand by our practices, documentation, and policies, and respectfully disagree with the assertion that the kitten was sold knowingly ill or that any misconduct occurred.

My devon rex kitty

Adopting my devon rex kitty from purebred kitties was my first experience with pet adoption. I have been wanting a fur baby but needed something hypoallergenic and i’ve always dreamed of a a devon rex. After adopting my kitty on November 6th, I finally got him on December 11th. The team sent me videos once a week and they were good with responding when I had questions. I was really nervous but my kitten is so perfect. He is playful, sweet, knows how to use the litter, and was immediately affectionate with us. He was even ready to eat and drink right away! I couldn’t be happier.
