Where do I even begin with the horrifying experience with purple frog student accommodation Bristol housing agent. If I could give them zero stars, I would. This agency is an absolute nightmare, and I strongly advise anyone considering renting from them to run as far away as possible. Here's why:
First and foremost, the most glaring issue with this student housing agent is their complete disregard for basic living conditions. The property they rented out to me was infested with mould! From the moment the students stepped into the house, they were hit with a musky, damp odor Little did they know, that was just the beginning of the nightmare.
Every bedroom of the house has mould, some rooms worse than others. The Mould was on the walls and even the spread into clothes and furniture. It was clear that no proper maintenance or care had been taken to address this issue. The mould not only posed a severe health hazard but also made the house not safe to live in. Some students have developed respiratory problems during their time there.
The student tenants and parents tried to contact the student housing agent to address the issues. The-calls and emails went unanswered for months, leaving students to suffer in a hazardous environment. It was as if they simply didn't care about the well-being of their tenants.
In addition to the mould issue, the overall condition of the property was deplorable. The house was in a state of disrepair, with leaking pipes, broken appliances, and shoddy electrical wiring. It was evident that the student housing agent had no intention of investing in the upkeep of their properties, despite charging exorbitant rental fees.
Furthermore, the staff at purple frog were consistently unprofessional and unresponsive. They showed no empathy or concern for the appalling conditions they subjected their tenants to. It was clear that their only priority was collecting rent money, without any regard for the basic rights and well-being of their tenants.
In conclusion, my experience with purple frog was a complete nightmare. Renting from them was an absolute mistake, and I strongly urge anyone students/Parents considering their services to look elsewhere. The mould -infested property, lack of maintenance, and unprofessional staff make this student housing agent a disgrace. Save yourself the stress and health risks—stay away from Purple frog at all costs!
