Terrible Customer service, unable to order.

I tried to place an order on the puzzlemaniac.co.uk website for gifts for an event I'm hosting. The payment page showed that the payment did not go through. I tried multiple times, each time the response was the payment didn't go through and that I should try again. I checked my banking app, and the payment went through 3 times.

I sent a message via their website before the weekend, hoping they'd respond - but no response by Monday. When I tried to contact them for assistance telephonically, I was met with quite a bit of hostility, like I was a criminal - rather than a customer who wanted to spend money on their website. They said that they couldn't see an order or a payment and thus didn't want to assist me. A very unpleasant customer service experience. I sent them screenshots to show that the order was attempted on their website, because they didn't believe that I was using the legitimate website. I sent them screenshots of the multiple charges on my card. Their response was condescending implying that I wasn't using the HTTPS version of the website, and I am the one at fault for not knowing the difference - when I in fact was using the secure, HTTPS site. I sent proof of the HTTPS certificate, on their website. I'm now left with the only option which is to dispute the multiple charges on my card with my bank. And I have barely enough time to order the gifts from a different website in time for the event.

I'd avoid this website, they'll make you feel like a criminal with terrible customer service, and you won't get what you're trying to purchase because of the faulty payment system that they completely deny is an issue.
