I haven’t even stayed due to stay…

I haven’t even stayed due to stay tomorrow. I don’t mind paying when they tell you before hand the price of deposit. However £50 a night deposit is a disgrace. If I hadn’t already paid for the stay which isn’t cheap anyway. Ill not be staying there again.
To top that off I’ve traveled all through the pandemic for work. What kind of crap is it when the hotel has stated it won’t clean your room if your staying for more than one day! Shocking experience before I’ve even arrived!

Qbic Manchester - Great Stay but with a 'dark finish' a…

Reserved one night in the hotel for a romantic city break with my wife. Hotel is very central and all staff I interacted with were professional and friendly. We had a drink in Motley, and received what we would describe as some of the best cocktails we have ever had!
The room was functional, clean and fit for purpose. I also tried the breakfast which was value for money and a good quality.
The stay had a 'dark ending'. After we departed the hotel my wife noticed she had left her mobile phone on the bed with her spectacles. I contacted the hotel within 45 minutes of our departure and prior to the time the room was due to be cleaned to notify the hotel of the loss. I also turned on the 'find my phone' function on the phone where I could see the it still in the hotel.
I communicated with the hotel immediately via email with reservations and telephone with reception, though I did not receive any calls with an update despite reception promising to call me back many times, I could see the phone location in the hotel.
Though I did not receive any calls about the phone as I was promised, reception did notify me that the spectacles had been found but not the phone, even though they were side by side on the bed! I did not receive one call despite spending a large amount of time calling the hotel.
Finally some four hours after reporting the phone loss to the hotel the unit was turned off.

I had a fantastic time at QBic

I had a fantastic time at QBic. Great value for money and fun, engaging staff. Stayed last summer with some friends and highly recommend. There is a good feel to their hotels and will visit again, next time we are allowed out of course (lol!). Keep it up Qbic :-)

Car tyres slashed on 'secure' car park

I booked the Qbic hotel for 4 nights on business due to the location and the ‘secure’ car park available. I was notified by the operations manager Mohammed upon returning after the first day of work that my car tyres both on the drivers side were completely flat and looked punctured.

I took the car to a local tyre repair centre to see if the punctures could be repaired. I was informed that both the side walls have been punctured and that this was only possible by vandalism. In effect he confirmed my tyres had been slashed. Given I had driven down from Manchester the night prior and my car had not been moved from the car parking spot since check in, it leads to the conclusion it could only have been vandalised whilst parked in the hotels car park.

I raised this issue with a member of staff who notified Dominic, the general manager. His and the official hotel's response was to tell me to open a police report, only then would they deal with it. He offered no additional support, help nor would speak to me directly. I find this incredibly poor given they offer a ‘secure’ car park that you pay a premium on top of your stay to use.

If you were looking for a hotel specifically for secure parking in London I hope you strongly reconsider staying at Qbic London. Issues like mine, though rare, can happen but the lack of help and support from the general manager & the hotel is wholly unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of care or empathy for their customers when issues arise, don’t risk being in my unfortunate situation and book elsewhere.

Good location and cozy room

Stayed in Qbic Amsterdam WTC, and the room is cozy and charming. The hotel itself is also very cool. Just near the metro and the staff were friendly. I recommend this hotel.

Awful locations

Awful locations, full of drug people outside, rooms under the standards. Looks like a hourly hotel for "your stuff"...

Excellant London Hotel

Stayed at the central London hotel, they gave me a larger better room when I asked, my car was in their securely locked car-park. All together it was a lovely hotel with comfortable (and different) rooms in a central location and their staff were very pleasant and accommodating.

“Great location and good value”

Close to brick lane and lots of east London bar and restaurants the location is ideal and the modern looking rooms are comfortable and functional. The complimentary drinks in the evening makes the stay even more enjoyable!

lovely hotel

lovely hotel, really friendly helpful staff. have a whats app service as well so you don't even have to leave your room if you need anything! requested 2 more pillows as only 1 each provided, and received about 3 minutes after what-sapping reception! lovely comfortable bed, modern bathroom, huge shower. plenty of room to get ready. 3 seats. no wardrobe but they did have a coat stand with coat hanger which was sufficient enough for a few days city break. unlimited hot drinks in reception and the hot choc was the best! also lots of fun games to play in lobby while we were waiting for our train. will definitely stay again when we go back to Amsterdam.
