Qbittorrent is an outstanding torrent client - free, fast, easy, small file size - BUT...
For the past month I have been receiving pop-ups from them demanding that I download and install their latest update. These pop-ups interrupt my work, and I have already downloaded the update - I just haven't installed it yet. The problem is the more they attempt to force this update on me, the less likely I am to install it.
The 3-star rating I have left for them is the 5-star rating I would give the software, minus the 2 stars I took away for their highly aggressive use of what we used to call "push technology." The reason push technology never caught on is people really, really dislike the intrusive and insistent nature of these unwanted pop-ups.
If Qbittorrent wants to offer an update, fine. But then let me decide if and when I want to install it.
