QENERGY is different to other retailers.
I really dislike energy retailers for the most part. I've had so many bad experiences. QEnergy is totally different. I just wish they did gas as well as electricity so I didn't have to deal with others for my gas.
The first thing that attracted me to QEnergy was they were offering a very low rate. But then I also saw that they have a totally different payment policy to other energy retailers. Payment is made beforehand in monthly instalments, so when I get my bill, it is already paid.
I pay manually each month so I adjust my rate based on what I think I've used and a little extra on top just to make sure I'm always in credit. There is the option of paying by direct debit but I like knowing I'm always in credit, and sometimes the basic monthly payment would leave me a little short.
I think this is my 3rd or 4th year with QEnergy and so far I'm really happy with almost every aspect of their service. There was one time I was a bit late and they sent me a collections notice, which I wasn't really a fan of and some hiccups when I first joined - delayed transfer from my previous retailer. But, apart from that, I've been pretty happy with QEnergy.
