great environment for my child

queens grant has been a blessing for us. my son is in the 2nd grade and we have thoroughly enjoyed the 2 1/2 years we have been at queens grant so far. all the teachers and staff have bent over backwards to help and support us in any and every way possible. my son has grown and matured so much since entering the school and he has benefited greatly from the moral focus the school emphasizes as well as academically. i wholeheartedly recommend queens grant to anybody with a school aged child

We love QGCS

I love that moral focus is the center of everything at QGCS, as that is so important to instill in out youth today. My husband and I truly consider it a blessing that our son has the opportunity to be apart of QG. From the 1st year and each year since, the staff, teachers, therapist, etc... have all taken a personal interest in our child and are consistently there for him as an individual. They are all SO committed to their students! The only con I have is that there's no bus transportation for students. That would be such a great help to many families.

School that cares

Nice to have a school that cares about your child's overall growth and not just the test scores. They want ever child to succeed.

Satisfied

The environment established is caring and nurturing to students, not lacking order and discipline. I'm so happy knowing my children are in good hands

LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!!!

My son has been going here since Kindergarten. I am very pleased with how the school is ran and how the school is very much like a private school without the cost. All the teachers know all the students by name and the school is very much like a family. This school is huge on parent involvement and there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer as well as interact and communicate with teachers and other students' and their parents. I love how children are rewarded, in assembly, when they have shown excellence in a certain moral focus (respect, for example). I love that there are uniforms and that there is no tolerance for bullying. This school is the best school I could've chose for my child!

Inconsistent

Administrators are inconsistent with consequences. Policies are inconsistently enforced. Teachers have favorites. Classes are large. Academic focus is a strength however there is a large percentage of teacher turn over every year.

Great School

My daughter has learned more while attending Queens Grant than she did at her previous school. They teach until the whole class understands a topic before moving on to the next.

Quality Education

I have 2 children who attend the school and we have been very pleased with their education. The school strives for excellence. There are always things they are improving on, but that it what makes it a great school. They are always looking to improve and that is what makes it great. Oh and the wonderful teachers!

Retrospective

School policy and events remind me of my school days. Morning meeting with principal during assembly and school song everyday. Live announcements, pledge of allegiance, and much more. The feeling that describes this is already in its name...... COMMUNITY. I've been impressed so far going on 2.5 years.
