I joined quick books 3 weeks ago and…

I joined quick books 3 weeks ago and that was a mistake. It has never worked. I can't even upload reciept and attach them to my accounts so cant do them. I called customer services who could see there was a problem 4 weeks later they haven't fixed it. That is one whole month i have been with them and not be able to use it. I am falling behind on my accounts so I put in a complaint. Today they closed the complaint without resolving the issue. Avoid quickbooks

If you have not yet usedQuickbooks and…

If you have not yet usedQuickbooks and are thinking if trying it, my advice is don't. QBO is one of the most annoying cloud packages out there, and I am sutck with its substandard functionality as I have long term projects that need auditing by funders. It is cimbersome and slow and the new interface is really buggy. The AI is next to useless. I dont need all the automatic feeds. I would simply like to know why everything that I find useful like reminders on the homescreen for automated payments get taken away.

Wouldn't switch again if you paid me

Where to start....
Took out three subscription by phone with Henrique whilst trying to move from Xero due to not being able to get decent customer service. One Irish branch, one UK branch and a sole trader account. The Irish account was created in the UK so I had to get that cancelled and a new one created but now it's on a different pricing structure so costs more than expected (1) but reassured I could call one number for help with both accounts....
Then it turns out that I have been mis-sold two of the packages (2) as I specifically requested a tier that allowed, sales order, purchase orders and invoicing. The only way to unlock this on both subscriptions is to upgrade but this to the next tier which costs more (3) and makes sure I lose the introductory 90% off promo (4). Overall this will cost £400 a year extra than my Xero subscription and currently with worse customer support (5).

Then used dataswitcher to port my data but all PO's, customers, suppliers and products are missing as they're a charged extra apparently (6).

Managed to get speaking to a very helpful person in retention's who has applied a discount code to the UK business, thank you very much, that's very helpful BUT can't see or touch my Irish account (7). Have to call the Irish helpdesk, which is not what Henrique sold me in the first place (8). Called the Irish business, they told me that because Intuit UK are billing me, they can't see my account and I have to call back to QBO UK helpdesk (9).

Requested a call back from the chat inside my QBO account and got speaking to a waste of a human being in some ridiculous scripted call centre who wasn't even listening let alone being helpful (10). 25 MINUTE LATER and we got to a point where the person on the phone admitted that the best solution she could offer, was for me to put the phone down and call someone else. (11) What an absolute sh!t show.

So.... I'm now on over 10 issues and counting and as yet, haven't had the time or patience to call anyone else at QBO to attempt to resolve my Irish account. I'm now stuck unable to order stock or invoice my customers.

I would not recommend this company if you want a smooth transition, an easy system to use or are expecting good customer service. Knowing what I know now, I should have stayed on Sage. It was expensive and clunky BUT switching to Xero then QBO has been nothing short of disastrous.

Terrible customer service and support

Great while it works, but absolutely appalling customer service when things go wrong.

Since the new-look system has been implemented, the system is so slow, it's taking double the time to generate delivery notes and invoice and it's severely affecting our business.

Roll on countless phone calls, emails that aren't replied to for days, video uploads and a complete lack of urgency, we're two months down the line with no one actually helping, being passed from pillar to post and my business is suffering.

Will be seriously considering changing accounting systems.

Really helpful and has improved my confidence

I did not know what to expect as I had been using QuickBooks for 3 months but didn't really understand it. I was asked questions to direct the session and was talked through how to use each section. My understanding was checked regularly and the session went at a good pace. I left feeling really confident about setting up and using QuickBooks.

Complaints handling is non-existent

Completely useless complaints handling team by QB - lots of my time wasted with empty promises, communication very shambolic with zero updates by QB regarding timelines or any other details. Unexplained change of case handler somewhere in the middle of case with a new person not aware of what has been discussed before. I was under a very strong impression that this function was outsourced and not part of QB, based somewhere in Africa. Needless to say that case is still pending proper resolution despite me sending a few follow up emails.

Worst, unreliable, unresponsive and no deserve even 1 star

worst accounting software and worst payment processes. you can't rely on them for any banking transections any how, people can pay and take materials and QBO will certainly say sorry, because the credit comes after 3 to 5 days and best part is they can proceed receiving payments with no balance in senders account and they informed you after3 to 5 days that transection been declined, and here comes best part that they will not discloses any information to registered user to proceed with sender,

in my case a guy approached to take delivery by paying thru QBO and took the delivery after taking delivery immediately he cancelled the transection but QBO was sleeping to revert me back for 3 days that transection been cancelled, now they took material with no money, all the information they gave were false, address, GST number, delivery address everything is scam, but QBO is hiding their informations and denied with diplomatic answers,

I request everyone to not to use QBO and go for other options which are more reliable Than this shit.
