The reason I decided to work a publishing team was simple. I wanted to spend my time writing another book rather than spending months learning every technical part of publishing. There is a lot that goes into getting a book ready after the writing is finished, and I knew I didn't want to spend all my time trying to figure out every detail my self. Having people who already understood the process helped me keep moving without getting stuck on things I had never dealt with before. Getting readers to find your work after publishing takes a lot of time and energy, so I was glad, I could focus on writing while they handled the publishing side of things.
