Mistakes happen, but good customer services
I had some difficulties setting up my account, it needed extra verification. Andrea, from Customer Support, replied very quickly and dealt with this.
Unfortunately I hadn't noticed that 2 accounts had been set up, one of which I didn't think I requested. I inadvertently funded the wrong account, which had a notice period. A further enquiry to Andrea resulted in the money being refunded by 'Bondsmith' the next day, enabling me to then fund the correct account.
A suggestion, it would be helpful if the actual account destination is shown on the various screens, during the process of funding an account. At present, after pressing the funding tab in the app, it just says 'Bondsmith Savings', so after an early mistake, there is no reminder of the account destination.
But thank you Wombat, it looks like all is almost sorted now, and I have the account of my choice set up. Mistakes do happen, and you responded quickly to my enquiries, which is good.
Just dropped a star, as the final stages of sorting out is yet to complete. My transactions are yet to show on the app, after which I'm told, the wrong account can be deleted.

They advised you to update your details or send them across so our CS team could update them manually for you, but you declined this request. Simple, easy system to log in and sort your money out. Very easy to set up and then you just have to find your way around the system. I have enjoyed using this system and will keep it running until something dire happens happens to interest rates!

Non existent Support
Made an account a while ago and cannot login anymore. Tried to reach out to their Support which appears to just be a automted LiveChat bot feature that says they will reply to you and not had anything back since. Tried again another time but same thing, and no reply still.

Successful deposits into the savings accounts require the exact details as provided in the Wombat app under Add Money. Typically, payments end up being returned to users if the unique reference is not copied correctly as the system is then unable to recognise the payment.

I’m going to close this account right after I opened it. Money that I deposit into all my other accounts arrives instantly. That’s what I expect. With this account, it’s been two days and the deposits still showing as pending. That’s what we expected 20 years ago. Not ok any more.

Brilliant App!
I’ve been with Wombat since the first day they opened up, and I can say they have improved a lot since then. The customer service is also brilliant - they are responsive and very friendly. Deposits have also been improved recently, so money doesn’t take long to be deposited for investments. Across my 3 accounts (Instant, ISA and Savings), I had no issues, leaving me highly satisfied.
