Absolutely brilliant, I ordered yesterday afternoon and was delivered today afternoon by DPD ☺️

Great site, product range, customer service and delivery.

I was super reticent about buying here after reading the review - but really needed some tasty Thai food and I'm a long way from a big town or city.

I feel the need to review this as the old reviews are really bad.

- Site is easy to use
- Prices are reasonable
- Well packaged, glass items well protected
- Delivery was swift
- Customer service was great, they contacted me to let me know a product wasn't available and let me swap to another brand
- Everything had a good shelf life (except tofu but as a fresh product that's acceptable)

Will use regularly from now on

Mark and the team at RaanThai provide incredible customer service. Something you categorically don't get when placing orders with the larger supermarkets.

BEWARE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. They knowingly shipped rotten produce and then refuse to refund, It seems this is something they do regularly. They make you think they are ok and then they hit you with the rotten stuff and blame you and make all kinds of excuses not to refund. FOR SHAME. They will be reported to trading standards!

Fast delivery! They called me when some items ran out of stock. Otherwise really good!

Following the transaction dispute, a small claim for the penalties imposed by the bank and visa company was raised by Raan Thai manager, Mr Mark Leach through the County Court. Consistent with the long record of being offensive to customers, Mr Leach's statement contained some misogynist and racial assumptions and is now handed over to Financial Ombudsmen service.
On 23 February the County Court judged that Raan Thai had broken Consumer Rights Act 2015 and awarded only a partial compensation due to the fact that Barclays Bank and visa company had imposed higher penalties than the actual value of spoilt food and small claim procedure had incurred court fees.
This is a good example how an unconscientious vendor can be easily taken to account either via Financial Ombudsman (which is free) or via your bank (in our case, Barclays Bank reimbursed the costs towards the small claim and made another generous credit for the inconvenience).
Raan Thai manager had been violating consumer rights for years. As other reviews show, people were ripped off and often insulted and walked away. It does't have to be this way - your bank and Financial Ombudsman offer a surprising level of support when you need it.

Really great service. I ordered online and I was called very quickly about an item that was out of stock which was no problem - my order was updated and dispatched quickly. The parcel arrived very quickly and packed really well. I couldn't ask for more during a pandemic to be honest.

I ordered from them because they showed the these items as in stock and allowed me to purchase them. They changed the amount without telling me and just sent it.
You cannot do that, without consulting with the customer before shipping, if it is in order to change the order. They just did it. When called for, they didn’t even apologize like it’s a normal thing. It isn’t!
That is very poor business practice.

Ordered online due to corona virus. They rang me to say some items were out of stock (not surprising in current circumstances) and offered alternatives. Items were very well packaged and delivered quickly. Excellent service and will use again

Very low trading standard. Selling rotten food and refusing replacement or refund.

Ordered on Friday, processed on Monday, delivered by Tuesday morning! Highly recommended! No fuss, easy to deal with. My frozen items were packed nicely and when they arrived, they were still cold (and I live in Bristol). I will be using their online shop again in the future! Thank you RaanThai!

Just moved to an area which didnt have any Asian food shops so thought we would try this web site to order some supplies. Service was fine order arrived in a few days and all was packaged well. Shipping was expensive but that was mainly due to 20kg of rice being ordered. I would use again

In the past, we used to use Raan Thai on a regular basis and never had any problems with either ordering or delivery. Yesterday, my wife decided to utilize their services again after a gap of almost 3 years and was a little frustrated as to how many items she wanted to order were 'out of stock'. However, she was still able to select enough items to meet their £30 minimum order requirement. To her astonishment, the order was delivered at 8:30 this morning, less than 24 hours after she placed her order! The number of items 'out of stock' is the only reason for not giving 5 stars

First time that I have ordered from RaanThai.co.uk my wife wanted some Thai cookware that is only sold here. The order was delivered the next working day really well packed with allot of care and marked fragile. I am really pleased with the service from RaanThai and we will be using them again excellent thank you.

A great online supermarket, bursting with ingredients that you'd need to cook all sorts of dishes. They had everything I was looking for in stock and the delivery arrived the following morning incredibly well packaged up, so thank you RaanThai!

I have ordered from Raan Thai quite a few times now and always received good service; well packaged and quick delivery.
I just came across these reviews and felt I needed to show my support as I was surprised and suspicious of all the 1 star reviews.

I ordered my goods online from Raanthai and after about 10 days waiting and still no show, I contacted the Raanthai customer services. Only to be told that the delivery man had made 2 attempts to deliver. I had absolutely received no notice about any delivery, and my building has 24 hours concierge, so I really doubt if the delivery man - if delivery there was - had tried very hard.
Mind you! I got reimburse for my goods, £26 out of £76 after deduction of this and that. Never use this shop again.

I bought the product from their website and what they sent me is totally different product and when i spoke to the owner of the business Mark he was very rude man instead of him saying sorry he was saying i am wrong, He said you can send the items back which will cost me almost £20.00 and he is not willing to pay for the return cost.

I suggest everyone not to place an order with this company because they are all crooks who knows how to take your money.

I only give them one star as that's the minimum. I placed an order, more than half of it was out of date. Sent it back recorded delivery and despite it being signed for they claim it never arrived. A real smug sarcastic guy answered the phone when I called and he claimed none of the stuff was out of date ? So I'm out of pocket.
