Purchased a woman's Rab firewall jacket online in "marmalade". The colour is high viz pylon orange, rather than the muted shade that is widely published. The zip got stuck in the first use. No one in my hiking group could unstick it; neither could the staff at Cotswold. I got a full refund. Not meant to be.

Second Rab item I've owned (this time a retirement gift) and second disappointment. Never worn or washed and already a seam unravelling. Disappointing for me and embarrassing for the people who bought it for me.

Excellent repair service and quick return. A random dog pawed the front of my jacket puncturing it on each front panel. Very impressed with invisible repairs looks good as new.

They have a system where they get you to log onto your bank app and certify that the CC payment you want to make on the Rab site is genuine. Mine froze when I returned to the Rab site after certifying - takes a lot of trust to go through the process again (thankfully worked). Never had this elsewhere. Mad when you’re paying full price here (usually heavily discounted in Go Outdoors etc) that they have such a flaky system.

Had to contact Rab due to a faulty zip on jacket. Sent images of fault, to which they replied looks like heat damage, I strongly disputed this I did however go ahead with the repair and paid for this. I sent a covering letter asking them to examine the jacket. No contact from them until I kept on chasing with calls and e mails finally got a reply saying they will not replace under warranty. Still not satisfied as this is no fault of my own .

Rab is a fabulous company! I have used there gear on many bike tours and mountaineering pursuits and have always been do happy with the quality and reliability. I know I am supporting a good company when I buy from rab.

I love rab products. They are synonymous with high quality outdoor gear. I have a waterproof jacket that I’ve had for years and it still looks like new and performs the same!

The gear is I have purchased from here is exemplary. Purchased the Rab Alpine 800 sleeping bag recently and it worked greater than expected at -14/15 degrees up at Everest Base Camp!

Use alot of their gear to be honest from micro light jackets to bags hoodies and trousers never been let down by any of their products

VR Summit Jacket was perfect on a recent trip to the Atlas mountains - warm, but not bulky so layered well and easy to stuff into a rucksack when not needed. Quality piece of kit.

Products are great quality and very hard wearing.

Rab down jacket are durable. I had mine for 4 years now and it still keeps me warm even at - temps.
Snowdon winter climb was where I experienced it.

Bought a solid shell coat from them, durable and light. Packs down very well.

Ordered a Ruck sack on 8th June,paid for next day delivery. Email on 9th today saying "Great news your order is on way" Monday 12th June being delivered.
The zip went on my own rucksack so was pleased when Rab could deliver next day.Then to be told Monday 12th.
This was for a hike in lake district on Sunday.Now I'm going to go out my way to buy another one for Sunday.
Not Happy.

Great quality products. I’ve bought both the Veil 6 vest and the Veil 1 belt and use it for (ultra) trail running. Pleasantly surprised.

Sturdy. Light. Stiff. Barely any bounce. Holds a lot of items.

Such a good range of quality gear - something for every situation in the mountains/hills. Great quality & fit from a top British company.
Don't hesitate to recommend Rab products to anyone in the market for new stuff . . . oh and they are pretty nice people too !
