The base is heavy enough and has wheels
Umbrella is not too big (for one person) but the base is holding it well. Tested in light wind, not huge winds obviously. I was able to move the base around using wheels. Heavy enough and mobile enough. If you buy a huge umbrella, you might need even a heavier base or add to the weight by placing more weight on it.

Great price. Arrived when they said and was quick.
Well made very comfy chair.
It is low and more of a chair to put your feet up and game then to sit at a desk, which was exactly what we wanted. The chair was for my 10 year old who loves it and im six foot tall and we all find it comfy too.

6x8 shed base in 6x4 parts with no instructions caused confusion and delay
I ordered a 6x8 shed base. What was delivered was two 6x4 shed bases.
It was only over two weeks later, after one failed delivery/return date then another attempt at the exchange was made, that it was revealed to me via a customer services call from the confused delivery driver that a 'Shire' 6x8 adjustable shed base is made up of the parts that come in two sets of 6x4 shed base.
The 6x4 shed base instructions booklet supplied with the delivery gave no clue, nor did the information online while purchasing, nor any other communication. So I'd had the correct parts all along, but no information telling me that what looked incorrect was in fact what I needed.
The poor information and delays meant I've had shed contents and new shed parts sitting around my garden for two weeks waiting for the correct base to arrive. It's not been a great experience. The three stars (rather than any fewer) are because the people I have dealt with directly have been helpful. Rackhams just need to improve the information and instructions supplied when purchasing and packing this size shed base.

You are absolutely right that this should have been made clear in the product information and supported with the correct instructions in the box. The lack of clarity understandably led to unnecessary delays and inconvenience while you were waiting to proceed.
We are pleased to hear that the team were helpful when you spoke with them, but we fully accept that clearer communication upfront would have avoided this situation entirely. Your feedback has been shared with the supplier to improve both the listing information and the instructions provided with the product.
