DO NOT BUY FROM RADICAL HOMES – AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER & DECEPTIVE BUSINESS
I spent over $2,000 with this company and experienced a 3-month nightmare of lies, hidden fees, and damaged goods. If you expect basic competence or accountability, look elsewhere.
Bait-and-Switch Fees: Before buying, they confirmed my customization request in writing. Yet, days after I paid, they ambushed me with a hidden $488 "extra material cost" that nearly doubled the table's price.
Abysmal Delays & Incompetent Logistics: They promised a 5-10 week delivery timeframe , but it took nearly 12 weeks to deliver an incomplete order. Despite explicitly agreeing to deliver my fixtures and table together , they failed to coordinate their own logistics partners and then blamed me for the botched delivery.
Fraudulent Materials: Their website advertised a "solid wood" table, but the deeply damaged table base they dumped in my home exposed cheap particle board/MDF. When caught, they shamelessly lied before finally admitting it was MDF.
Damaged & Hideous Goods: After waiting 3 months, they assembled wobbly chairs and delivered a table base with massive chips and deep scratches. The premium "travertine" stone I was strong-armed into paying extra for looked fake, plastic, and bizarrely grey.
Cowardly Customer Service: On the final day of delivery, when everything fell apart and I urgently requested a phone call, they flat-out refused. They coward behind text messages, dismissively claiming "Call and texting is the same" while actively worsening the problem.
Their solution to 3 months of botched logistics, ignored schedules, and a falsely advertised, broken table? An insulting $100 refund. I am reporting them to CASE for deceptive business practices. Save your money, time, and sanity—avoid Radical Homes at all costs
