Radiology Assist is not Transparent & doesn't want your business if you question them

Was recommended Radiology Assist to locate a facility offing Mamagram. On their main website the "location" search page it lists a location in a known shopping district near me BUT DID NOT PROVIDE A PHSICAL ADDRESS. A foreigner answered the phone and when asked if she could provide me with a physical address she asked me which tytpe of service. At first I balked at answering and said I just needed to know the physical address. My reasoning is legitimate as there is an AKUMIN location in that same locale which has some HORRIBLE Google reviews. I chose to check out Radiology Assist despite a higher prices for a screening test. I became suspicious with their refusal to give me the address as it is possible they are working with AKUMIN as a scheduling service and not an actual practice. I told the woman what service I was looking for and then complained about how convoluted their set up is she promptly hung up on me and transferred me to a automated survey asking me how likely I am to recommend Radiology Assist. I wanted to answer ZERO but choose 1 - not likely at all.

Exactly what I hoped for

I'm truly thankful that this service exists. I was able to get access to an MRI that I don't think my primary care doctor would have been familiar enough with prescribing. Without sharing medical information here, I can say that the results of that scan have made a huge difference to my health. Great experience, and I'll be back if I need additional scans!

Very shady ..

Called radiology assist to ask who they partnered with in my area as they do not give the names of the places (red flag) so I called them and they gave me several names of places around me they contract with. Called them and ALL of them said they are NOT partners with radiology assist and radiology assist just takes your money and gives u a voucher and the doctors offices do not take a voucher from them because they are not partners. They all said they would be contacting legal to get themselves removed from radiology assists sites. Radiology assists swears they are legitimate but I can find zero evidence of that. Do your due dilligance and get the name of the company they are partnered with that you wish to go to and call them direct to verify it is legitimate !!

Bait and switch

RadiologyAssist gave me 4 locations in my city where I could get a specific diagnostic test done. They hounded me for a week while I bothered my doctor to send a new referral to them. Once they received the referral, they advised that their nearest location is an hour away. Why does the site ask for all the specifics of the test you need if it's going to compare it to a database that is incorrect? This was a complete waste of my and my doctor's time.

Conflicts of Interest.

Have a doctor prescribed referral for a bilateral breast ultrasound (to avoid the almost 20 years of radiating mammograms). Radiologyassist will only do the ultrasound if I have a mammogram within a year of my ultrasound. Crazy. Not to mention I'm paying out of pocket, but to tie my ultrasound to a mammogram, completed by them, is a major conflict of interest. I wonder why?

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. I paid for a consultation only to have the doctor not issue the script when any other doctor would have easily done it.
Simply unreliable and untrustworthy.
