This hotel is to die for - a spa experience like no other, gorgeous beds with mind-blowing views of the Thames, and fabulous, fabulous staff. I'd give it ten stars if I could.
Very strange check in experience - Edwardian Manchester
Upon arrival at the hotel, I sought to confirm my room type and special requests, as I had been offered an upgrade by Booking.com. However, instead of receiving the courteous and professional service one would expect, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness from Ms. Iqra. Despite presenting the confirmation email from Booking.com regarding the upgrade, Ms. Iqra outright refused to honor it, displaying a complete disregard for the commitment made by your hotel's booking partner.
Furthermore, when I inquired about additional requests, such as rose petals and a bottle of champagne in the room upon arrival, Ms. Iqra callously dismissed them, stating they were subject to availability. Her lack of empathy and unwillingness to accommodate reasonable requests left me deeply unsettled. When I expressed my disappointment and frustration calmly, Ms. Iqra responded with further disrespect, suggesting that if I was not pleased, she would be more than happy to cancel my booking.
As someone who had just undertaken a lengthy journey from London to celebrate a special occasion—the 30th birthday of my partner—at your establishment, such treatment was profoundly disappointing and distressing. This hotel was chosen specifically for its reputation and the anticipation of a memorable experience, only to be greeted with such discourtesy upon arrival.
Fortunately, the situation improved when Mr. Wilfred stepped in to assist at the reception desk. Unlike Ms. Iqra, Mr. Wilfred exhibited professionalism, warmth, and respect throughout our interaction. He promptly addressed all outstanding matters and ensured that our requests were fulfilled to a high standard, restoring some semblance of confidence in the service provided by Hotel Edwardian Manchester.
While I appreciate Mr. Wilfred's efforts to rectify the situation, I must emphasize that the initial treatment I received from Ms. Iqra was wholly unacceptable and tarnished what should have been a positive guest experience. As a loyal customer who has frequented your establishment in the past, I trust that this incident will be thoroughly investigated.
I would like to personally thank Mr Wilfred for going above and beyond after the check-in experience to ensure that our stay became a positive experience.

Stayed at the Radison Blu Edwardian Grafton in London, Totenham Court Rd, next to Warren St underground.
Room 251, located next to a restaurant, who’s extractor fan keeps the hotel awake all night. Horrible place, worst hotel I've stayed in, whom refused to move the room .. no sleep guaranteed- give it a miss if you want to actually sleep
