I am a pensioner. My vested benefits (Freizuegigkeits) were transferred to the vested benefit section of Raiffeisen in St Gallen. I have the proof. The woman in charge refuses to pay me my money; just says I will receive a letter in the mail; refuses to say when this letter will be mailed; has been horribly horribly rude and inexcusably obnoxious. DO NOT PUT ANY MONEY WITH THIS BANK. Their service amounts to no service. What a disgrace.

Local bank with good and simple services. I like the way how they treat customers and their pricing is also in line with the competitions or even cheaper.

Extremely poor customer service. The employees are a bunch of lazy bureaucrats. Avoid this business

I had an occasion to go to the Raiffeisen bank in Vadianstrasse St. Gallen today As I had a problem logging into my E-Banking. The delightful young man who incidentally spoke very good English was so helpful and solved the problem for me with patience and politeness. I am very low tech but he did not make me feel inadequate in any way. Thank you so much

If you block your card in the ATM, even if the bank is open, it's impossible to retrieve it. Opening hours are kept to a minimum. If you buy something with your visa/debit card, the balance will be updated after ... 3 days. Not very practical for tracking your budget from the app.

A friend who moved to Switzerland couldn't open an account because he didn't have a fixed work permit, just a seasonal work permit. How can he receive his salary? Another bank agreed.

There are many other problems, but I don't feel like explaining them any further.

Thank you raiffeisen for declining to open a bank account for me, after I said im here for 3 weeks still with daily contracts and in 1 month i would have a long term contract. How should I have an Iban to be possible to receive my salary for now?
Im glad there are another banks like UBS that opened the account for me with no problems.

Terrible bank. My husband has an account there. My husband went to a Bankomat to get cash out. The bankomat got his card on a saturday afternoon. We tried called the "24 hours Notfall Nummer". On the phone was informed that they are closed after 1pm on saturday. So its actually no "24 hours Notfall Nummer", right?? Lickily mt husband has other credit cards from other Bank and could pay some restaurant bill. If he had only Raiffeisen then he would have a big problem.

The worst bank I have ever dealt with. Rudeness, misleading the customer, lack of professionalism, lack of respect for the customer and any ethical standards. I am writing about the Polish branch of the bank.

Hard to go to an online bank, hard to use it. Costumer service zero - 0. I do not understand why people like this bank or why it is ranked as the best bank in Switzerland. Thank you but NO!

Super difficult to use, confirmation emails and numbers take ages to arrive. The photoTan thing is stupid and makes things so difficult. It's all so slow and old school.

My experience with Raiffeisen bank is terrible. The bank provides poor customer service (waiting for one hour and above, to make a simple action), no cash at the banks' branches, high fees, application that its not working/blocked, Asking unnecessary documents (my second bank didn't request any documents). They even inform me via an email that my bank account is going to be closed within one month, no explanation was given (not that I need) but the bank's action is unprofessional and shady. The only good thing is the "happy hour", everyday between 10:00-11:00 you can exchange money in a good rate. Rather than that, I highly recommend to stay away from this bank. I did:).
