Poor business practices

First, every location is different. At my location the car wash and staff are good. No issues there. My issue is with their membership service. I have been a member for a long time, several years. My payment comes out every month without fail. I purchased it and it works pretty much as expected. My issue is their business practice with the membership. I am relocating and will no longer be able to use the service. I have tried to cancel locally - nope. Sent me to online. Try to cancel that way - nope. They have no customer service phone number. They tell you via online request to create an account in order to close your account. They have my info, provided my bar code when i emailed them, but will not close my account unless I open an online account. Its shady. If they make it complicated to cancel, maybe you wont. Or maybe they can keep your payment coming and you'll forget about it or get frustrated and give up closing it .... and they keep your money coming. If I didnt need an account for you to take my money every month for years, why do i need an account to stop? Sad ending to a long customer relationship. Horrible and would say dont fall for the scam. Pay as you go.

The car wash was good until they…

The car wash was good until they decided to use the COVID epidemic as an excuse to scale back on their amenities. #1) they had a bug prep station where one could use a solution to brush over the windshield and bumpers where bugs accumulate. #2) they had products to use after the wash to dry the cars and clean the interiors. They stopped all of this allegedly because of COVID and instructions from the health dept. I checked with the health dept. and they were unaware of any such guidance. I've called Rainstorm and left messages for a return call and have contacted them thru their website multiple times -- but no returned calls. It irks me they sell a monthly product including these amenities but don't offer them. What they are actually doing is cutting their overhead by not offering the services. They need to offer a discount or upgrade customers washes until COVID subsides. And they need to return telephone calls. Terrible customer service. But on a positive note: all the kids that work there are friendly and polite.
