Very good customer service and great rates
Overall, Raisin is a good place to invest your money into CDs, Money Market Accounts and HYS accounts. I have a few CDs and a HYS account. The rates that their affiliate banks offer are the very best in the USA and the CDs are insured by the FDIC.
The only things I don't like are that when closing an account, your money gets imitially transferred to a CASH ACCOUNT, as opposed to going directly into your assigned external accounts. During this 3 day period you don't earn any interest, which is totally unfair. Raisin also doesn't offer a fax number. Glad they offer email communication though. Their customer service has been very friendly and helpful to me for the most part.
I recommend Raisin to others.

DO NOT TRUST RAISIN! They stole over 4000€ from me!
DO NOT TRUST RAISIN!
They closed my account without any prior information. They blocked my mobile banking claiming that they will send my money to my connected bank account. But nothing. It is 2 weeks since the deadline they indicated for sending me the money. They stole over 4.000€ and now are not even responding!
Do not trust Raisin at all!!

Dont have any reservations about investing here. I have used them for a couple of years and should you have a query ring them and you get an immediate and professional response. Top rates, and when the investment period ends it hits your holding account for you to withdrawer or more likely to reinvest

Their "cash account" is a sleazy way to hold your funds for days without interest
Raisin is not in itself a bank. It is digital platform that allows you to access a wide range of federally insured banks’ and credit unions’ deposit products through a single login. There are two problems with this "platform":
1. You cannot have joint ownership. One person only, and you can designate a beneficiary upon your death.
2. This is the biggie: They maintain a "Cash Account", through which all transactions must pass before depositing or withdrawing funds to or from one of their partner banks. This delays every deposit, transfer, or withdrawal by several days. While funds are in this Cash Account, they earn ZERO INTEREST. Raisin, of course, can use these funds (times however many thousands of customers are forced to use this "account") while we wait.

I have been a Raisin Customer, when it was "SaveBetter" from about 2019. I appreciate their services for being a platform/hub for saving options from High-Yield Savings, Money Market Deposits, CDs, and No-Penalty CDs with "GREAT" interest rates!!
*Think: "Raisin"..."raises" in interest rates. :-)

Dreadful Customer Service
Opening an account is both difficult and time consuming. For an online bank the processs takes too long. Once you get the account open and deposit funds you may forget about getting a reply from their customer service team. I sent an in app message on the 21st May 2026, when I didn't hear back within two days I followed up with an email. It is now 27th May 2026 and no-one has contacted me. I am dreading when my account matures and I want my funds transferred back to my account. The only options I currently have to transfer to are other online banks that I do not and do not want to deal with!

Very straightforward and access to interest rates that are not available in Ireland. If more people used Raisin, the Irish banks might actually offer competitive deposit rates as opposed to the less than inflation rates currently on offer. You actually lose money saving in Irish banks. They have the fattest difference between lending and deposit rates, hence their higher profit
