They give you an interview and make you think that they can give you a job, but instead they completely ghost you and do not follow up with anything.

Misleading information about the job online, When you arrive for the interview , it is not the same information given.
After the group interview , they said they will call the day after, but nothing. After getting all my personal information, gave me hope for nothing. No emails, no calls.
I find it so unprofessional.
I would never recommend them to anyone.

Great Agency with very kindly and efficient staff who helped me many times making my life easier and taking a burden away from their client (often) to the extent that I now have a contract direct with their client (my new employer). Whilst I have left Randstad they have still helped me with follow up matters.

We lost over a month with a recruitment process in which the location of the job, the accommodation, the type of work and the income/bonuses have constantly been altered. Me and my partner have refused different offers while considering that the one proposed by Randstad might be stable, a big mistake on our side. We've been ignored by recruiters after being lied to, and when we reached higher management, they blamed us for having too many expectations, while we were just trying to confirm an offer and only asked two mere questions before proceeding. The team is acting so sassy and they have no respects towards possible candidates, they don't see them as humans but as resources. Rarely had a worse experience with any other company..

Lack of professionalism is evident, as contract employees are compelled to perform tasks they are not comfortable with. This practice resembles modern slavery, as staff are forced to accept assignments in any department without the option to request a change if they are dissatisfied. Randstard, an agency in the UK, appears to operate under these questionable practices.Very very slow in reply and process of work.

Unbelievably incompetent. HR company that can't handle simple documentation, direction, working rights. They are slow to reply, their emails are hypocritical. There's clearly poor structure and failed upper-management. If you have the time to be messed around these people are fantastic. I would seriously consider applying through someone else. They have NO TIME for low wage employees.

Can’t communicate, you ask something they need 2 weeks to answer back.

I’ve applied for some jobs and I couldn’t answer the call by one of the recruiting team, when I call later other women answer but the funny part now begins , she told me I’m not qualified for the job yet the mail told something else , this woman keep her point and same I did and to make it shorter I had to end the conversation since it was a waste of time and I definitely don’t want to work with them since my first job was with Randstad and it was horrible - I wanted to work in logistics and ended up working in production line . In the end I want to thanks for the false hope !

Unqualified employees, very often your questions can't be answered. Missleading interviews, stating things that are blatantly untrue , and you can only find out once you start working and wasted your time waiting for the job. Very long times , over a month to start working from the initial interview.

Today we discuss how Randstad is actually illegal with their employees. They do not follow AWR which gives workers more rights and pay after 12 weeks. They are dishonest and the worst agency around. Try teaching personnel, they’re much more up front and honest. This place will take your money and refuse to talk to you. They damage the reputation of the schools they work at by making up lies to tell their agency staff stating the school has said this which the schools never do. Once the school finds out, by people like me who dislike bullies like Randstad, they distance themselves very quickly. Do yourself a favour, if they say “the school said” speak to the school directly and ask them as you are allowed to. You will be amazed how many times they will back you up against your agency like this one.

Avoid at all costs and if you do work for them, and been in the same role for more than 12 weeks, you are entitled to be paid the same as someone who is permanent. They won’t tell you this though so remember ACAS is your friend and they are a free advice place to help against bullies and thieves like Randstad. Mark Heselwood, Joseph Ledbury, Bethany Wingfield, are all dishonest. Do not trust this company. They underpay people for fun and after 3 months minus a day, they legally get to keep your money. Be advised and be warned. Approach at your own peril.

If you're a contractor and offered work via Randstad, do so at your own risk. They will offer you a poor rate (way below what the customers are actually paying for the position) and they do nothing for their 'cut' of YOUR hard work.
They care nothing for you except for how much money you can make for them.
Emails go unanswered for weeks and you'll be locked into extortionate non-compete clauses.
Nothing but a money making scheme! Avoid!

Very disappointing experience, no response to emails, not sure how the recruiting process works. Had an initial good virtual meeting where the agent asked many questions which was encouraging, but after that no follow ups or response to emails. It seems these recruiting companies are just good if the resume is a 100% match, but there is no attention given to transferable skills or a careers change option. I had better response from companies whom i applied directly.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the way your agency handled the selection process for the position I applied for.

I found the process to be highly unprofessional and the communication on your part inadequate. Specifically:

You failed to provide clear and timely updates about the status of the selection process.

Your recruiters do not sign their emails, making it impossible to know who I am communicating with, which gives the impression of avoiding accountability.

During my interactions with your team in the Zuidwest region, I experienced instances where different individuals responded to the same communication without identifying themselves. Based on available information, one of the recruiters allegedly goes by the name "Mark."

Additionally, I mistakenly submitted my personal data and CV, and I kindly request that these be permanently deleted from your system.

I understand that misunderstandings can happen, but my experience with your agency falls far below the professional standards I would expect from a reputable organization like yours.

Discrimination against candidates during the recruitment process is unacceptable and severely undermines the professionalism of Randstad.nl.
Based on my personal experience, I believe this agency fails to uphold the fundamental principles of fair treatment for all candidates.

For this reason, I strongly do not recommend this recruitment agency.

I received a rather rude response (in English) from one of Randstad's recruiters telling me that I don't 'speak, write or read' German and recommended that I apply for two other employers. I make it clear that I speak German on my CV and have several lines on the CV decidicated to this fact to try to highlight it. The job required C1 German so I applied for it as I thought that it might be suited to a foreign worker like me - alas it seems that I am the wrong kind of foreigner.

Edit: The same kind of thing has now happened to me a couple of days later with Randstad Germany. Absolutely shocking.

I applied for a sales advisor role which a former coworker referred me to. An hour later, a Randstad employee named Erin contacted me, we did a virtual interview the next Monday and by Thursday I had an interview with the actual company I was applying with; the next morning Erin called me to let me know that I had an offer from that company which I proudly accepted and will begin working for Monday next week. Kudos to you Erin for helping make this happen, I really appreciate it!

I worked in FedEx. I did my job very well, sometimes I did extra like cleaning after the job (work in logistics), and had no problem to stay longer when needed. Yet, I got discriminated and heard many times racist words from the kids working there. I neglected them usually and continue my work, but it gets worse and worse. I made a complaint by the supervisor multiple times, but they never took any action to stop this racism and discrimination from these Dutch kids. finally I told Randstad, they did nothing. Of course, because I am a foreigner and these kids are Dutch. They will never talk to them or fire them. When I saw this injustice, unfair treatment, I quit. I am now in the procedure, put a lawyer and will sue them, for this pain I had while working there. People, please don't get involved with these Nazi agency. Many people before and after me who worked there, the same happened to them too. They left because of this corruption.

I am in the application process and it took me me over 3 hrs to do the have a friend verify . pain in the ass and then i go back to app and its not even documented! So retrying and then this verify proof to work in the usa , holy crumb! Im 54 never had to go thru this ... Social security # should be enough plus they want all my w4 information,? Why im not filing my taxes with them this is my personal information. , this is why im here writing this review first w4 is showing all my past jobs income, this is clearly a red flag they do not need that information! I really think this company is trying to get identities from people! Beware im going to put a freeze on my social security number now bcz i do not trust this company at all and by the poor reviews shows that probably the good reviews are fake and from this company itself. Im also contacting the bbb on this company for wanting my tax information which is clearly illegal to do! Beware people!!
