Beware of this site. They are a third-party that contacts mostly Uber drivers and then charges extra. I was unable to use my UBER app and I called rapid ryde. They did get me a taxi very quickly but it was a five minute ride to a hotel near the airport, the fee was $33. The Uber fee would’ve been much less.
They do something akin to subletting Uber and other ride platforms, but at 3 times the price. They want your CC info even before the car arrives. I kept the guy, Anthony, on the phone until the car arrived. Then he took my CC info and canceled my reservation. The Uber driver was super nice and took cash, but otherwise would have had to drop me on the side of the road. And I had to contact my CC company and report the charge as fraudulent. At least the Uber driver charged me less than rapid-ryde would have. Do not use this company
I was looking for a local cab company in my area when their website showed up and suggested by google. I had bad experience with uber drivers so i chose cab instead. To my surprise, an uber driver came to pick me up, i was shocked since the guy who spoke to me over the phone claimed they are local cab company, with no choice i just let the uber driver take me home, it is already dark and I have already paid for the ride, so i really dont have the choice. And to make matters worst, they charged me more than i should pay, i spoke with the driver if he works for RAPID RYDE and told me he dont know who they are. I asked him how much is my ride and how much is getting for the ride, i was surprise that it is cheaper than what i paid, they are running a total scam and i believe they are based somewhere outside the US and using Uber to scam people. Please avoid them as much as possible.
