Be careful of this website as their counting of requests is faulty and you can be overcharged easily, don't try changing packages during billing cycle you will be billed for both packages, and the support not capable of doing anything apart from asking the api provider

Bad customer support

I have been using this api for a long time. Their customer support is really bad. Multiple times they just close my api access without checking with me! When they move to new platform their registration system do not work and on while i try to check it with them they reply as blaming to me. Very unprofessional service so i stop using them.

Thieves!!

Thieves!!! They overcharge you for using an API once you’re over the limit

I subscribed to an api that allows for 70,000 per day then extra is +$0.0015 but no that’s not what happened. They overcharged my card, in this crazy economy. Do not use them. Their systems are not functioning properly

Worst company ever - DONT USE RAPIDAPI - Everyday new problems no repsonse!

Everyday there are new issues with their APIs, nobody cares about. Don't expect any support!!! APIs that run a week good, aren't available or not delivering anything on the next day. You are paying for AIR. Top 5 Worst companies every experienced, they support is non existent - they let you wait for 2 weeks. You are paying for services that don't work. They scam people everyday and nobody is doing nothing. They are support ist lying to people, and they make the worst errors, like include messages from other users and their support tickets.. into your support tickets. Payments are not working, you can't add new payment cards - ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE - SUPER FRUSTRATING -

Incredibly frustrating experience

I've had an incredibly frustrating experience with RapidAPI's payment system. Despite using their services for a while, I recently encountered issues with receiving my payments on time.

What's more concerning is that when I reached out for support, I was informed that they only have one person handling billing, and that individual was on holiday! This left me in a state of limbo with no resolution in sight.

It's unacceptable for a company of their size to rely on just one person for such critical matters. My experience has been nothing short of disappointing, and I urge others to exercise caution when relying on RapidAPI's services.

$5000 in overage charges, cant investigate, cant limit risk.

I subscribe to a $35 service. Logged in to find $5000+ spend in overage charges, I asked for IP addresses querying and limits, their reply (should have been internal):

We do not disclose the IP address of the request as it's not part of the information we typically share with consumers. Additionally, we do not provide more detailed logs beyond the last 200 on the Public Hub.

Regarding protection, it's the responsibility of the consumer to implement mechanisms to block a certain number of calls on their server side; it is not our responsibility.

I just stopped working on macOS

I just stopped working on macOS. The app starts but the app window can't be found. Creating a new file does not work. The only solution is reinstallation. Stay away from this product if you need it for anything work-related.

Exceeded rate limit by accident

Exceeded rate limit by accident. Received mail telling me that i "may" incur additional fees. Logged into site -no red flags, or an overview of said fees. Later i was charged more then 10X my montly subscription for exeeding the limit by 1.5X my quota. What a scammy business!

Customer service non existing

I accidentally stopped my subscription to an API on the same day I was charged.
I contacted support right away to tell them about the mistake and asked for them to reinstate the subscription since it is a full month I have been charged.

The answer was that they cannot do that and I will need to pay for another subscription.

Lost access to the API after 15 minutes

I subscribed to an API for one month to test it out. I always cancel these subscriptions so that I don’t forget unsubscribing later on. With this service, you lose your access to the API as soon as you unsubscribe, not at the end of the month that you paid for. So I paid a whole month, and then lost access to the API after 15 minutes. After contacting the support, they just confirmed that this is how their platform worked, but offered no other assistance.

Disappointing Support Experience with RapidAPI

We tried multiple channels to contact RapidAPI's support, including emails and online forms, but we didn't receive any updates for two weeks. They keep repeating that their engineering team will review our case and nothing happens after that. Very bad experience with RapidAPI.

Fake limit rate

Fake limit rate, for 1 month, 2 months and then in the 3rd month you will see the amount you pay is dozens of times higher because the quota is exceeded.

No customer support - Subscription lost

As soon as I subscribed for a monthly plan and paid for my subscription, I stopped my subscription in order not be reautomatically charged the next month. But this action deleted my access to the service! So I contacted the service support, but nobody has answered to my support request, in spite of multiple emails sent. It seems that nobody monitors the customer support.
