Terrible next to non existent communication
I am writing this review as a warning of my experience to potential customers of the rate my take away merch store site.On the 8/10/23 I ordered four clothing items as gifts for Christmas.I ordered them early so they would arrive well before Christmas.I had not ordered from this site before but as the items on the site looked official and my family are a fan of the YouTube channel from which the slogans on the items originate from,I decided to spend nearly £84 with shipping for items from this site.On placing my order I received an initial confirmation email stating they would be in touch when my order is ready to send.The delivery times in this email stated "Typical delivery times to UK 7-14 days" but then stated UK delivery tracked 7-20 days, so I was unsure if my items were coming from this country or abroad.The same email said if there are any queries regarding this order to contact their email address or visit their store which shows the same email address.Two weeks had nearly past and I had received no despatch email so I contacted their email shown asking for an update on my order.I had also visited their merch site again for more information.I started to have concerns when there was no actual Business address or contact phone number,only an email address,I also checked their delivery times on their site again. It showed UK 1-3 working days delivery,so that is three different contradicting delivery times I had read both on their site and in my confirmation email.I worried further when I received no reply,not even an automated response to my first email query.I checked my bank and noted they had taken my payment the day after I placed my order.After 14 days I still had no despatch email so I emailed the same email address I had been initially given to enquire again about my order.Still i was given no response.Alarm bells really started to ring now and I wondered if this was a rogue company.As one of their delivery times stated 7-20 days I decided to just patiently wait and hope I hear something by then.I did send a more abrupt email nearer the 20 day mark as I was becoming increasingly anxious where my order was and why they wasn't responding.Still they sent no reply.After 20 days I sort third party advice and contacted my bank to start a Dispute claim.I emailed rate my take away merch a fourth time to inform them of my dispute claim, you guessed it, no reply.My bank had informed me I needed to wait 30 days before they could start the claim but as that was my second time contacting them about this they logged it a few days before.Finally on the 14/11/23,over a month of waiting for even a despatch email,they finally sent an one saying my order was on its way.My items finally arrived on the 15th of November.I had to contact my bank again to cancel the dispute claim as they had now finally arrived.I checked all four items and wrote rate my take away merch a final email summing up my very poor experience with them.I stated though I was pleased with the clothing sent,I was very dismayed with their near non existent communication.I only received a despatch email the day before my items were sent with no response to my many queries inbetween of their wareabouts.I was given no tracking number either all that time till the day before the items arrived,and no apology for their lack of response.I also stated that due to the stress of wondering where my items were all that time,the inconvenience of having to contact my bank-three times,and the company's sheer lack of response to my emails,I would not be ordering from them again.As expected I did not receive a response.They have clearly shown as a customer I am not valued at all.I also noted when my items did finally arrive, the return address was in the UK so can not believe they took over a month to arrive!.
