They gave me a 280 quote and with bundle home and auto 328 and now charging me 380 with pembridge insurance

Extremely disappointed by the whiplash of my experience with Scoop. Initially, I was happy with the service and even made a point of complimenting it. Unfortunately, the communication and follow-through quickly deteriorated.

About a week after receiving my auto insurance quote, I called with some follow-up questions. The broker couldn’t provide the information at that time, so I asked them to email me once they had it. After approximately two business days, I followed up by email and received no response—even though their signature specifically identifies email as the best way to reach them. When I called two days later, they immediately located my email.

I was ready to proceed, but once the reports were run, the quoted premium doubled. The broker suggested this was related to my driving record or that of another driver on the policy, but did not provide a clear explanation of what information had caused such a significant increase. I have been insured for more than a decade and have never had these concerns raised before. I take statements about our driving records seriously and expect them to be supported by specific information.

This happened last week, and I am still waiting for an explanation or any update. I understand that an initial quote can change once information is verified. What I find unacceptable is having the premium double, receiving no clear explanation, and then being left to chase answers.

The positive first impression has been completely overshadowed by poor communication, a lack of follow-through, and an unresolved discrepancy.

Not easy at all to make changes to the policy, rude staff and lack of customer service.
On top of that rate keep rising every year despite no accidents for decades.
The whole insurance business is a big scam that will ruin the economy, insurance should regulated by the government at a much lower rate. I am leaving this god dam country for this reason.

What went wrong??? They ignore you when you try to make a policy??
