My wife needed a mammogram
My wife needed a mammogram. I tried booking by phone. Gave up after 40 minutes on hold. This happened twice so I eventually went to their office. Scheduled appointment and was told to bring in ultrasound image and report which I did. I kept receiving texts confirming appointment but also got phone calls questioning need for procedure (we'd already given Rayus a prescription) and asking for data I'd already submitted. I twice had to revisit to confirm appointment in wake of negative calls.
My wife has dementia and is wheelchair-bound. We hired special transportation and three family members were on hand to help. We waited nearly an hour and when the technician finally called us she said they were short-staffed and exam might be a problem. She also brazenly stated that our long wait was because she'd skipped my wife's turn as "it was going to be difficult." My wife cooperated fully with all requirements but technician said she couldn't be positioned correctly for exam and gave up.
It was a waste of everybody's time and it was obvious the technician was completely negative about the whole thing. It was also clear to us that she was behind the obstructive phone calls prior to the appointed procedure.
The whole experience -- and a previous encounter when I needed an ultrasound -- shows Rayus' total disregard for patients needs, time and expense.
I'll never use them again.
