A non-grazier's perspective
Coming from the government side of things, I found participating in the GFP course extremely beneficial. The number of topics covered and the chance to liaise with numerous groups of people at the heart of the industry was tremendously invaluable. The fact I am still telling people about it weeks afterwards is evident of its effect. The course structure, with its variety and mix of lecture, tutorial and hands on style kept everyone engaged over the 7 x 10 hour days. My knowledge of grazing practices has vastly improved as a result of this course.

David is an exceptional teacher and presenter. Content works off basic easy to understand principals. Highly highly recommend this course to anyone regardless of your level of experience in agriculture.

The course in general was fantastic
The course in general was fantastic, however we did cover a lot of different aspects of grazing very quickly. I felt we could have spent a bit more time on the grazing charts to better understand the stocking rate to carrying capacity

Life Changing
My personal goal in attending the course was to develop the vocab and language I need to help Dad teach me what I need to know about the farm, but on top of this, I was surprised to be given specific communication and goal setting tools to assist our family with this succession planning.
