This rating is specifically for RC Willey’s carpet sales and installation.

I am extremely disappointed with the whole-house carpet we purchased last year. The way RC Willey measures and sells carpet appears designed to minimize the amount of carpet needed for the job, which makes the price look better upfront. What they did not clearly explain was the major tradeoff that comes with that approach.

Our carpet was pieced together with numerous seams throughout the house, many of which are visible. Even worse, because of the way the carpet was installed and seamed, we have now been told that it cannot be properly stretched.

That became a major problem after we experienced some flooding. The carpet developed puckers and wrinkles, and because of the number and placement of the seams, we were told it cannot simply be stretched and repaired.

I feel deceived by the way this was sold to us. The lower price sounded like a benefit, but in reality it came with a significant compromise in the quality and long-term serviceability of the installation. Had someone been upfront and said, “We can lower the cost, but your carpet will have a lot more seams, some of those seams may be visible, and future repairs or stretching may be much more difficult or impossible,” I never would have agreed to it.

We spent thousands of dollars carpeting our home, and now we may have to replace it far sooner than expected. That makes the original savings feel meaningless.

My advice is to spend a little more upfront and use a company that installs carpet with fewer seams and considers how the carpet will hold up and be serviced over time. It may cost more initially, but it could save you a lot of money and frustration in the long run.

I wanted to share some feedback about my recent experiences, because I truly hope it helps improve the process for future customers.

Last year in September, I had my carpet installed and everything went smoothly. Tiffany was wonderful during the sale, and I was offered a rebate, a $200 gift card, and a take‑home gift. The installation and rebate were handled excellently.

However, the gift card process has been very frustrating.

Tiffany told me the gift card would be on my account when I was ready to use it. On July 2, I returned to purchase a Wolf stove, but the gift certificate was not on my account and Tiffany was on vacation. I was asked to come back on July 6. When I met with her, she said she would contact the accounting department, but the card was not issued until after I had already left the store. I asked for it to be mailed to me.

Then, on August 31, I came back to buy a dishwasher and use my gift card. It showed only $0.01 remaining. I never used the card, and it took the accounting department a long time to resolve the issue.

I want to emphasize that I appreciate RC and have continued to return because of the quality of your products and the kindness of your sales team. My hope is simply that the gift card process can be improved so customers don’t experience delays or confusion in the future.

The buying experience was good. We ended up switching the items we originally bought for a different set of items. There was a miscommunication in the switch but Susanna in finance/customer service was a great help fixing the issue. The service was professional and excellent. The recliner is beautiful.

From shopping experience to delivery, my experience with RC Willey was great.

Very slow at providing warranty on our entertainment center.
When they arrived several months later, the wrong parts had been ordered, and it was at least another 6 months before their return.
Finally problem was solved…so we thought…
Within the following 7 months, the same part went out again, and we were informed that our product was no longer under warranty.
Very disappointed

It was a very easy and quick purchase. It literally took me less than 30 minutes to complete my purchase.

Always a good experience. I have been working with Warren Brock for years and he is so helpful and has a ton of knowledge on the furniture.
