Staff and pupils thoroughly enjoyed participating in the Read and Raise fundraiser. The platform is exceptionally user-friendly, making it very easy to set up and manage the entire initiative. All of the groundwork is thoughtfully prepared, including posters, letter templates for parents and local businesses, and clear step-by-step guidance for families.

The Read and Raise team was consistently available to offer support and answer any questions, which made the process even smoother. Overall, it was a very straightforward and stress-free experience.

Our pupils were highly motivated to read, and a sense of healthy competition developed between classes as they aimed to achieve the highest number of reading minutes. The fundraiser also successfully engaged parents, families, and local businesses, helping to foster a strong sense of community within the school.

Read & Raise was a fantastic event to promote reading in our school community with the added bonus of fundraising for our new school library and future reading activities. We recently used Read and Raise for a whole-school Readathon in Scoil Mhuire Lacken, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The platform was incredibly easy for both teachers and families to use, and it made organising a school fundraiser very straightforward.

What really stood out was how the platform combines promoting reading with fundraising. Our pupils were highly motivated to read, and parents loved being able to track their child’s progress while also supporting the school. The online sponsorship system worked seamlessly and removed a lot of the administrative work that normally comes with school fundraising.

Communication from the Read and Raise team was excellent throughout, with clear guidance and support at every stage. The setup process was simple, and the platform handled everything from sponsorship pages to progress tracking and donations.

Most importantly, the fundraiser created a real buzz around reading in the school, and we were delighted with the amount raised to support the development of our school playground.

Read and Raise was a terrific experience for our school. A very simple and effective way to raise funds for our school, but also a great incentive for children to improve their reading. The website is easy to use and there is very little admin for teachers. Great communication from the Read and Raise team also.

We had great success with running our Read and Raise campaign. A very simple way of generating much needed funds with minimal work from an admin side. We recently ran a Read & Raise fundraiser at our school and it was by far the most successful and seamless fundraising initiative we’ve ever undertaken. The program was incredibly engaging for the students, who enjoyed tracking their reading progress and seeing their class totals grow. Parents and relatives were enthusiastic about sponsoring the children, which encouraged more daily reading.

We also reached out to local businesses to sponsor advertisements on the fundraising page and were amazed by the positive response. The entire process is managed online, making it extremely efficient—one person was able to coordinate the entire fundraiser with ease.

In total, we raised nearly €16000 the highest amount our school has ever raised through a fundraiser. Darach, who runs Read & Raise, was outstanding throughout—responsive, helpful and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Read & Raise to any school looking for an easy, effective and efficient way to raise funds while promoting literacy.

Our experience of Read and Raise was fantastic. We undertook the fundraiser with the intention of raising money for a sensory space. Darach's help from start to finish was exemplary and ensured it was very successful. As a school we also found that during the fundraiser students were motivated to read more.

Darach was a pleasure to deal with from the very beginning. He talked us through the whole process and was always on hand to reply to any queries. The fundraiser was very well organised by the company which made the roll out of same in the school very simple! What a fantastic way to get kids involved in reading while raising a few euro at the same time. We've used this fundraiser for two years now and will continue to do so as we love it. It is well thought out and easy for all to use. Go raibh míle maith agaibh.

Read & Raise is an amazing fundraising idea for schools. The children loved logging all the reading and seeing their class totals and parents and relatives were happy to sponsor them to read a little extra everyday. We reached out to local businesses to sponsor an ad on the fundraising page and were blown away by the response from them. Read & Raise was by far the easiest fundraiser the school has ever done as it’s all done online and one person was able to run it all. The amount we raised was close to 9k and the largest amount ever raised. Darach who runs it was amazing he was so easy to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend it to any schools thinking of doing it.

Fundraising is such an issue for all schools and takes a serious amount of time and effort.
With Read and Raise, all the work was done for us, everything is online and everything can be shared via email or social media so we didn't feel like we were pressuring anyone into sponsoring us. I was highly impressed wjth the efficiency and running of Read and Raise throughout. All personnel were extremely helpful and always on hand if we needed advice or support. I would highly recommend Read and Raise to all schools.

Read and Raise was a great fundraiser for our school. It was effortless for us to set up. Every step of the fundraiser was done for us, tips on advertising, letters to sponsors, parents etc..

The Read and Raise initiative was a great success at CTRNS. It got the children reading and practicing their literacy skills and gathered funds for the school in the process. We feel that it cast the net further and wider than any fundraiser had before and took the pressure off the families of the children by targeting businesses and organizations outside of our immediate catchment area.

It was a fantastic fundraiser for our small school. With schools so busy in the current climate, there was no work involved in setting up and running the fundraiser. Emails were responded to so quickly and nothing was a problem. From a literacy point of view, the children loved seeing their minutes adding up and really promoted a love of reading. Our school recently completed our first Read and Raise fundraiser. The children really enjoyed participating in this event. It was very easy to set up the fundraiser and to track its progress throughout. We are delighted with the funds raised and will definitely look into using this again in the future!
