Readlang is the single most useful language learning app for me! I mainly use it to read books in multiple target languages and collect and practice vocabulary. Recently I also started to use the chat to improve my writing. Readlang is packed with features, but the UI is kept minimal and designed very thoughtfully, which I appreciate a lot. The free plan is very generous, but I'm happy to pay for the premium upgrade and support the developer.

Read Lang is a great service regarding translating texts of articles. I am using it for a course I am taking.

Simple yet effective app. Not as complete and eye pleasing as the other options on the market, however it is a lot cheaper and delivers very close to what the much more expensive tools do. A really good way of strengthening your language learning

My favorite language learning service. I love that I can use my own materials, and that my flashcards are based on what I've read. The service has integrated generative AI really well. It enhances the experience, rather than feeling shoe-horned in.

I've been searching for this app my entire life as a language learner, and finally, it's here. I love the ability to translate a word immediately while reading an article or book, or even a full phrase, and this translation is provided in the context of that specific passage so it makes sense. After that, we can review all those new words through flashcards in the same app. Brilliant. It's also heartening that the founder Steve is so attentive to the user experience.

Readlang gets right to the point, reading in a your target language that you're learning. It counts your progress, provides pretty good phrase and word translations, and then lets you practice those words you needed hints on. It's exactly what I want and has exactly nothing that I don't. I love it, best money I spend every month.

ReadLang is an elegant solution to the critical need to be exposed to written texts in your target language. It has a much cleaner interface than its competitors, and the developer is highly responsive to questions and community feedback. I use ReadLang daily for five different languages with two different scripts. I consider the very modest pro subscription fee to be more than worth the benefit I get from the platform.

This app/program was built by someone who really cares, witness he buying it back and improving it and keeping the price reasonable. Just for that it is worth backing. The program itself has been a great help in aiding me in learning a foreign language and is set up to help remember vocabulary in a fun way. One of the better programs on line with a reasonable price from a great innovator who cares. What more could one ask for?!

Readlang is a complete game changer for language learning through reading. It makes it easy to read for pleasure without it seeming like a chore, and you can use the study tools - flashcards from words you translated, chats with AI - as much or as little as you want. Uploading podcasts and YouTube videos to be able to use Readlang translations while following along with the transcript is great. What really sets it apart is that the creator, Steve, actively reads and responds to users on the forum and often implements their suggestions very quickly. It feels like he’s engaged with this tool as a labor of love. Absolutely worth the optional $15 premium subscription.

This is the best tool I have found for learning languages by reading. I like that I can upload texts, choose something from their public library or, create text according to my insterests using their story bot.

I've been using Readlang for three years and I've made an enormous progress understanding written and spoken texts, even native speakers. It's less useful for me to make progress in spoken language, as I easily forget words I've encountered through the app. But I highly recommend it to make fast progress in understanding the natural language
