Incredibly dangerous drving
Incredibly dangerous drving from the driver of BU67 XXK on the evening of Saturday 22nd November. I witnessed this apparently professional driver speed up the inside of another coach while joining the M23 and when they run out room to get in front simply pulled out anyway, forcing the other coach to take evasive action.
It's a good job there was nobody alongside in lane 2 otherwise there would have been a serious collision. From the looks of it the poor driver who had to take evasive action was carrying a coach full of children too.
I sincerely hope I never have the misfortune to end up on any Readybus coach myself or any of my children if this and other reviews about dangerous driving are anything to go by.
AVOID DANGEROUS AND RECKLESS DRIVERS
AVOID - dangerous driving (was not surprised when I googled the company and saw the previous reviews) to be frank if I was the owner I’d remove the branding off the busses just to save humiliation. I’d be embarrassed to hire such members of staff. Clearly hiring out of a driving awareness class.

I witnessed one of this company’s buses being driven recklessly along the A4 today, and it was genuinely terrifying. The driver was speeding well above the limit, weaving between lanes, and cutting off other vehicles in heavy traffic. There were several moments where a serious accident could easily have happened — risking not only the passengers’ lives but everyone else on the road.
This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable for a professional bus service. Drivers should prioritise safety and responsibility, not aggressive and dangerous driving. I sincerely hope the company takes immediate action to address this and ensure their drivers are properly trained and held accountable before someone gets seriously hurt.
Trustpilot stopping certain reviews
I bought a vax platinum carpet washer 2021. Every time I used (deep clean ) it uses almost 4ltr of water went into carpet and less than half a litre was dried up. it should be a a lot more dirty water than that. As seen on tv. Contacted vax told to try wash again and that I WAS doing something wrong . Told to try again Again!!! Carpets are now ruined.
When it came to put a review up TRUSTPILOT would not allow it and I was told to go back to Vax.
Worse part lots of people were complaining about Platinum carpet washer 2021 on other social media sites . I found this when I was looking for help elsewhere as to what I should do as VAX was not helpful in any way!! I wanted my platinum checked and they eventually agreed. I sent it and it came back 2 days later. Only the 2 water tanks were checked, ridiculous and a piece of paper saying it was down to customer not cleaning it right. Its was almost new and really clean.I give it a thorough clean every time i used the platinum. I only used it 3 times stupidly believing Vax and my carpets are all ruined and rippled/creases £3300 of carpets ruined .

Dreadful experience. Part of our football tour experience. Turned up late and made unscheduled stops meaning we missed our ferry. Drove through the very centre of Bruges in a 53 seater. Single lane cobbled streets. We had to tell him where to go and work out where to pick us up from. And then he abandoned us in Bruges because he had driven too many hours! Maximum he had done was 4/5.

First of all, I’m not one for leaving reviews anywhere, but felt I have to for Readybus.
I worked there as a duty manager for 18months. Never had a single day off sick in that time.
They work you in the office way past your hours. When you go home, you are expected to take a duty phone with you. Often got called through the night, which interrupts your sleep and work for the following day! I honestly don’t think I can remember ever getting a thank you for helping or doing extra.
My last week there, I was ill. I still went into work to get the school coaches out, with no appreciation. The last day of shift I was told to take a coach out, I refused because I was not up to transporting customers anywhere, so refused and then went home sick.
I got a disciplinary for that! The person I told that I was going home denied all knowledge of me saying that. I’m not the first to call him a snake, certainly won’t be the last! He is a driver that does admin work during the day, yet Raj Dhokia still thinks he runs the place.
You’re expected to do everything, not just managing the drivers, but drivers hours for both permanent drivers as well as agency.
The coaches were all damaged, aircon was a joke. We were often told to tell the customers that it stopped working that day, when it had been like that for weeks.
One coach was sent out with a lump of perspex in the door window instead of glass. Always overbooking and expecting drivers to be in literally 2 places at once.
Duty & operation managers are always leaving within a couple of months. I honestly don’t know why I put up with it for as long as I did.
They have a certain driver that always had complaints coming in about him due to road rage incidents against women, I tried on several occasions to get him pulled in over these allegations but to no avail. A case of not having a driver for that particular school run!!! The same driver that was ‘told off’ because the school complained that he was hugging a student 🤬
Next time you see a Readybus coach, take a good look at it, see how much tape you can see holding the bumper on etc.

Where do I start
I had an unfortunate experience with this company while working with an agency. Upon arrival in Cornwall for a tour, I found the coach provided was not clean, which is essential for a positive customer experience. Despite my concerns, the company neglected to address them, leaving me in a difficult situation. Additionally, there were issues with key handover, and I found the management, including a manager named Mark, unresponsive to my concerns. As a professional with over 21 years of experience, I must advise against engaging with this company, both as a driver and a customer.
School Ski Trip!
I just wanted to take the time to send you a quick email about how much Richard and Jose helped us have such a brilliant ski trip last week in Austria.
They were thoughtful, kind, caring and genuinely brilliant with us all week. They are a credit to your company. We couldn't have had a successful trip without their help and willingness to help all week. We have been on many trips before where the coach drivers have been extremely difficult which has made the trips 10 times harder. But Richard and Jose were brilliant.
Thank you for looking after us so well. And please do pass my wishes onto them both.

Appalling service AVOID at all costs
We had arranged a day trip to Brighton for our social club members. The coach arrived one hour late blaming traffic. This was accepted as things happen. After our very pleasant day out we all gathered at the pick up point. The driver rang our club secretary to advise he would be an hour late. After an hour had gone the driver called to advise that we would have to walk 800 yards to the coach. This was far from ideal as most social clubs we have an older demographic and had 2 members on crutches. I have no idea why the driver could not have got to our party from a different access point or at least get much closer by driving down to where the road was actually closed.
It took 3 hours for everybody to get to the coach which resulted in a large loss of revenue to our club who had laid on entertainment and a barbecue for our return. The return journey was unpleasant as the toilet door locked and the driver turned the heating up extremely high. The whole experience for vulnerable and elderly customers was appalling. When we wrote in to complain we received a response from a lady who has a title of duty manager who has all the empathy of a rattlesnake. No apology and the majority of the complaint was simply ignored. I shall now be reporting these charlatans to their regulators Traffic Commissioners of Great Britain and The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency.

Thoughtful and rapid
Readybus was there for us when we needed an emergency coach during unprecedented circumstances. They matched prices from a company that we had previously used which was now unable to carry out our journey. This was all arranged within an hour so that our journey could go ahead that day, and they even took all our ensuing journeys on board so that we could continue our work for the next couple of weeks. Our driver, Martin!
Our driver, Martin was superb. He brought back 25 students and 2 staff from the Brecon Beacons and went way above and beyond the call of duty. All he wanted to do was make sure we had the best service and he was friendly, not to mention expert at coming down our jam packed road to drop us off at the door of our school. Thank you, you made our lives on yuor bus a dream!

Shocking service
The coach was an hour and a half late to take our DofE students,so they missed the first part of their expedition,then the coach arrived one-hour late to collect them, it was pouring with rain and the coach had leaks with some of the seats soaked. The driver then declared that he needed a half hour break during a two hour journey back, this is appalling service, we will not be using this company again.

Unimaginable potent smell.

The driver tried his best to get us to the destination but had managed to get lost and driven down roads unsuitable for coaches due to the coach sat nav not working. However the smell was the worst part of the experience.

This caused an 30 minute trip to be two and a half hours
Not the best but decent mini coach
Driver needed to be more welcoming. We had to have tyre replaced at a Service Station (not his fault) .We arrived on Salisbury plain an hour late because of this.
I had to ask him if this was the returning point or not.
Going home in view of the bus strike in West London I asked if he would drop two of us off in the Richmond area. This he refused to do and without a toilet he said he would stop at the same service station on return at Fleet.This he never did luckily I hadn't been drinking ! Outward punctual start delayed by 8 mins waiting for a couple but that was fine (better waiting a bit than not going at all) returm we left Warminster bang on time. So this was better.
So minus a star for driver and minus a star for not stopping at Richmond on return.

Good driver who kept calm when we…
Good driver who kept calm when we suffered a flat tyre and had to wait an hour at Fleet Services. He communicated well. Return journey was very smooth.
We could have left an hour later to compensate for the earlier delay. We went to the Imberbus Day 2022.
