I recently went through the process of…

I recently went through the process of completing a 2 phased silver challenge with this prop firm, and while I was able to meet all the stated requirements and successfully pass, my overall experience left me disappointed.

On the positive side, the challenge itself was clearly structured. The rules were straightforward, the platform functioned reliably during trading, and there were no major issues when it came to execution or spreads. From a trading perspective, everything felt fair while I was working toward the target.

However, the situation changed after I passed. Despite meeting the profit target and adhering to the risk parameters, my account approval was denied during the review stage. The reasoning provided was either vague or not sufficiently detailed, which made it difficult to understand exactly what went wrong. This lack of transparency is a major concern, especially after investing both time and money into completing the challenge.

What’s most frustrating is the disconnect between the advertised process and the final outcome. Passing the challenge gives the impression that funding is the next step, but in reality, there appears to be an additional layer of subjective evaluation that isn’t clearly communicated upfront.

In summary:

* The challenge phase is well-designed and fair from a trading standpoint
* Platform performance is solid
* Post-challenge evaluation lacks transparency
* Denial after passing raises concerns about consistency and expectations

I would advise others to proceed with caution and ensure they fully understand all evaluation criteria—including any discretionary review processes—before committing.

Thank you for your feedback.

We would like to clarify that every trader who successfully completes a challenge receives an email informing them that their account will go through a standard review process. This review is done to check whether all trading conditions were followed correctly and whether there was no prohibited activity or rule violation.

Passing the profit target does not automatically mean that the funded account is issued immediately. The account must first be reviewed by our Risk Team, as stated in the process.

If any rule violation is found, the funded account cannot be provided. In such cases, the trader receives an explanation by email, including the reason for the decision and the next possible steps.

All details regarding your case were communicated to you by our Risk Team via email. We understand your disappointment, but the review process is applied to every trader to keep the evaluation fair and consistent.

Moving goalposts & "Ghost Rules" - Passed Phase 2 twice, still no account.

WARNING‼️

I am writing this to warn every serious trader to avoid RebelsFunding, specifically their Silver $80k Evaluation. They are not looking for skilled traders; they are looking for excuses not to pay out.

I have now passed the Silver Phase 2 TWICE. Both times, I hit the profit target without breaching a single drawdown or risk rule.

The first pass: After hitting the target, they denied my account based on a "shady" interpretation of their Independent Trades rule (claiming I had less than 6).

The second pass: I followed their instructions, retook the phase, and ensured I met every stated metric. I passed again.

The Result: They have now come up with a different excuse, entirely separate from the first one, to deny me the funded account again.

It is clear that RebelsFunding uses the "Manual Review" process after Phase 2 as a trap to disqualify profitable traders. Their rules on "Trade Splitting" and "Independent Setups" are intentionally vague so they can move the goalposts whenever they face a potential payout.

If you are a profitable trader, you are a liability to them. They only want "donations" from failing traders. Save your money, your time, and your sanity. Go to a firm that actually honors its own contract.

Update 21/01/2026:

They refunded my full €267 fee on 20/01/2026 as a so called “peace offering.”

In reality, it’s a quiet "please go away" payment; take the refund and don’t make noise.

I didn’t fail because I broke a rule.
I failed because the strategy was too profitable for a firm that can’t afford to pay it out and that's a classic B-Book setup.

They’re not copying your trades; they’re paying winners out of pocket.

A profitable XAU Trader who clears Phase 2 twice breaks their math.

You’re not failing rules.
You’re failing their ability to pay you.

Dear trader,

thank you for your review. We understand your frustration and also understand that you present yourself as an experienced trader or mentor, and this is good marketing for you, this is something we encounter regularly.

However, we are not new to the market, and we have long-term experience evaluating which trading styles are viable on an A-book model and which are not. Strategies based on achieving 8–10% within a very short time frame (often 1–4 days), especially when focused on a single strong XAU trend, are structurally loss-making on the A-book side. On the B-book side, such strategies usually result in one to three payouts before the account inevitably collapses.

This is not a unique or exceptional performance. We see this type of result every day. Some traders are able to understand this and adjust their trading style accordingly. Others choose a different approach, as you did.

Your results are not “too good to be true”, but they are also not representative of long-term, consistently sustainable trading that we can reasonably accept as a basis for a mutually beneficial, long-term relationship.

This is simply the reality of how these strategies behave over time.

So sorry for your experiance,
We wish you success in your future trading endeavors.

Refused my payout

Refused my payout. Stay away from Rebel Funding. Super sketchy. My payout was denied because of my “risk”. However I never lost more that 1%. I had a better trading history than the fake traders dashboards they advertise that reached payout. Who often times lose 1.2-1.7 %trade on some trades. Go to a reputable company, because Rebel Funding can decide. It to pay you for made up reasons.

I experienced significant issues with a…

I experienced significant issues with a brokerage platform that raise serious concerns about its reliability and practices.

1. Trade Closure During Market Hours:** While holding an open position in profit, I attempted to close it. The platform agent denied the request, claiming the market was closed due to a holiday. This occurred despite TradingView and other major brokers clearly showing the market was still open for approximately three more hours. Accepting this explanation at face value, I planned to close the position upon the market's next open.

2. Unjustified Account Closure: Following the market open, I received notification that my account had been terminated due to exceeding a 5% drawdown limit. This claim is factually incorrect, as my positions were consistently managed with a Take Profit and Stop Loss set at 3%, inherently preventing such a drawdown within my strategy.

3. Platform Discrepancies & Reliability: Furthermore, I observed concerning inconsistencies in the platform's data feed. The timing of the moving candles displayed on their platform did not align with the real-time data shown on TradingView, indicating potential issues with their execution or data sourcing.

Conclusion: Based on the inability to execute trades during verified market hours, the unjustified account closure citing an impossible drawdown, and the demonstrable data discrepancies compared to a reliable third-party source, I strongly advise against utilizing this platform. My experience suggests significant operational and ethical shortcomings.

Dear trader,

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate your detailed feedback.

1, Regarding the holiday: Thursday was indeed a holiday, and in some cases, our liquidity provider may close certain markets earlier than other brokers. In this case, the difference was no more than one hour (not three), unless you were referencing after-market pricing. Our trading hours are always published in advance here: https://www.rebelsfunding.com/platform-manual/rf-trader-platform-updates/

2, As for the drawdown: This appears to be a misunderstanding of how equity-based drawdown works. The starting equity is always calculated at the market close (21:00 UTC), and your account did experience a 5% drop based on that equity..

3, Platform discrepancy: We believe this might also stem from a misunderstanding. TradingView often displays mid-prices, while we display bid/ask pricing, which may cause differences in chart visuals.

Nonetheless, we’ve reinstated your account and hope this helps clarify the situation. We're here to assist if you need further help.

Best regards,
RebelsFunding Team

Not Surprised you will get denied

Not Surprised you will get denied. I dont think this prop firm is good and i stopped promoting them. I ran as their affiliate and got them 26 sales. They did not change my % after i requested it to be changed since they agreed on it. Also some of the payments are missing and its shady. Emails ignored too.

Bad experience be aware of scam!

I had a 3 phase account passed by achieving the target profit amount. I then waited 3 days to receive email saying I passed without following the 5 trades rule. They then made me start at phase 2 again which is understandable with the rules. I then passed 2 more phases achieving the “funded” phase so in total I passed 5 phases which is exhausting. I then attempted to complete KYC (verification) to then be DENIED because I didn’t include my middle name when signing up with rebels funding. I email them asking to update my name they said they will not allow it and I am considered “failed” and the accounts will be failed I will not be able to go on to the funded phase. All this took weeks by the way. I am very disappointed in them and the way they handled this there is no reason I should be denied funded for not including my MIDDLE name on the account I’ve never used my middle name when signing up with a firm. Just be aware this company does NOT want you to be funded.

Dear Trader

Thanks for your feedback. The issue wasn't the missing middle name, that’s not a problem. However, your last name was entered only as "B.", which we unfortunately cannot accept for verification. This is a basic requirement for identity confirmation, and no reputable firm can bypass it.

Also, changing the name during KYC isn't allowed, as it opens the door to potential fraud.
Also, you forgot that we refunded your entire fee back to your card, something a scam would never do in a case like this.

We appreciate your understanding.

Ruin all my efforts with their nonsensical reason.

All words from them "we have determined that your trading style does not align with our standards, and therefore, we cannot activate your funded account. Additionally, your trading style is challenging for us to replicate in the real market, which could pose further risks"
The first of all, i push all my best to take part in and conquer their training programs. And they denied all my efforts even though i run all 4 phrases with drawdown balance below 2% that means i always follow their rules including maximum daily drawdown and overall drawdown never ever larger than 2%. And if normal now i can be refunded 200% of my fee with an active live account but not.

Hello,

We regret to hear about your negative review of our company.

Our decision was made for a reasonable cause: your trading activity (and the copying of your trades) presents a high risk to our company. Most of your trades involve using full margin, where you are risking the maximum allowed drawdown. For this reason, we have decided to take this step, refund your fees for all programs, and not permit further trading.

We hope you understand this decision.

Thank you.

Unjust Termination and Profit Withholdingl Funding has…

Counter reply to your reply.
You are still saying I used high leverage, can you show me after warn which pair I trade over leverage? And if I loss my funded account I passed separately because of my past funded accounts you terminate my new 40k account which I use smaller lot with no risk and also terminate my 80k account and didn't give my 80% of profit. I was using same strategy which I was using for 20k. If you don't want to continue or giving me my account. Give my 80% of my profit.

My experience with Rebel Funding has been a rollercoaster, and I feel compelled to share my story. Initially, everything seemed smooth—I received two payouts of around $2500 and $2000 without any hitches. I diligently stuck to my trading strategy across all accounts.

Despite successfully conquering the 80k challenge, my journey took an unexpected turn. I was accused of using the wrong strategy, a strategy that had proven successful during my 20k challenge. Oddly, a warning about using higher lot sizes was issued, even though I had consistently adhered to my previously successful approach.

Throughout my 80k funded account, I followed the guidelines, refraining from using higher lot sizes. Instead, I opted for smaller lots even with a higher margin. This method led to a commendable $6300 profit, allowing me to surpass the 40k challenge.

Regrettably, Rebel Funding not only denied me the 40k funded account but also terminated my 80k account, withholding 80% of my hard-earned $6300 profit. Their justification was a company loss of $6000, a deduction that directly impacted my profits, contradicting the contract terms explicitly stating that company losses wouldn't affect individual traders.

It is disheartening to see my efforts reduced to zero due to an unfair profit cut, especially when the contract safeguards against such occurrences. I implore Rebel Funding to reconsider their decision and, at the very least, honor the agreed-upon profit split of $6k.

We acknowledge your experience and appreciate your feedback. However, it's important to clarify that our decision was based on a breach of the agreed terms and conditions, which we had previously warned you about. It appears there was a misunderstanding on your part regarding our guidelines. Trading, particularly with high leverage, ALL In without SL with news, involves significant risks, and we cannot support practices resembling gambling. We have to maintain strict risk management, especially when multiple accounts are involved where some are in loses and some in profite. Your fourth account was just one pip away from the drawdown limit, indicating high risk. In trading, hard-earned profits are typically characterized by cautious and consistent strategy adherence. We regret that we cannot finance behavior that leads to losses, as evidenced by three RCF accounts already lost. Our priority is to ensure fair and responsible trading practices and success for our company.
Good luck, RebelsFunding Team.
