While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. Reckon is an email verification API. You give it an email address and it tells you whether that address is real and worth sending to, before you hit send. Every email list has bad addresses in it. Some are obvious—typos, accounts that no longer exist. Others aren't: addresses that look valid but belong to inboxes no one monitors, or temporary accounts created just to get past a signup form. When those bad addresses bounce, it's not just a failed send. Email providers like Gmail and Outlook track your bounce rate, and a high one signals that you're not being careful about who you're mailing. Over time, that reputation follows you—future emails, even to addresses that are perfectly good, start landing in spam instead of the inbox. Reckon checks your list before any of that happens. It runs each address against a set of signals—does the domain exist, does the mailbox accept mail, is this a throwaway account—and flags the ones that don't belong. The addresses that come back clean are safe to send to. The ones that don't, you remove before they become bounces. Most verification services are built around enterprise buyers—sales calls, annual contracts, account managers. Reckon is self-service end to end. Signup takes a few minutes. Pricing runs $12–$35/month and is fully transparent. If you need more than your plan covers, you can go over—while setting a cap of your choosing—so there's no surprises. Most people set it up in minutes and don't worry about bounces ever again.
