Such a lovely idea! As someone who lives countries apart from my family and loved ones, I'm always looking for ways to share experiences that make us all feel closer in spirit. RecollectYou was perfect for Christmas for my parents, who had to spend it alone thanks to COVID and various travel restrictions. Using a mobile phone to gather my brother and sister, we recorded the cute questions to hopefully make my parents feel we were there bantering away together as usual. Plus, it led to some interesting revelations! Who knew my brother used to set traps to try and "catch" Santa?! It was really easy to use, and my parents loved it too. I would definitely use this again. I would give 5 stars if we were able to have multiple people record at once, and if we could edit the questions if necessary (or at least have a selection in case one isn't relevent).

I found the whole experience pleasing. To be given someone thoughts of me in short segments was eye-opening. Some of things that were said were very flattering it's nice to be seen in rose tinted glasses eb=vey once in a while. LOL

It was lovely to hear the voice and thoughts of someone I hold dear. I think this would be a good vehicle for sending to persons you care for that you otherwise do not have the opportunity to see or speak with regularly.

It might be particularly welcomed by those with memory issues ( so for example, those in hospital, nursing care, or otherwise suffering from dementia) or persons otherwise separated by distance.

It's easy to understand and record the message to send. The only issue I have is that it was written in the description that there would be a link provided that has all the recordings but nothing was ever sent after the 7 recordings.

I loved receiving the messages through RefollectYou, which my friend sent me to celebrate the recent birth of my first child. Really made me quite emotional. Some days gave me a real laugh and others made me tear up.
Overall a really lovely gift and a great concept."

I will always have a special place in my heart for the week I received a gift of RecollectYou.
My only wish is that it was longer! I will definitely be giving this to the fam as a gift
