Awful people
Awful people. If you're an American traveling to Chile do yourself a favor and book directly with the bus company. I purchase a ticket from Argentina to Chile, the border was closed that day because of a storm and recorrido only refunded a portion of the ticket. Why are they getting rich when they didn't provide the service they said they would? They must be making millions without moving a finger. I contacted them about this and they just ignore me. Now I have to report them to my credit card as a fraudulent institution.
Their website also has an algorithm that reported my profile automatically to the national investigation police because of possible illegal immigration. Because of this they blocked me from using the site. This is very scary being a tourist visiting a foreign country. Obviously there were no problems and I never was reached by the police but really makes you wonder about what it means being accused of something without evidence.
