Quick communication and very friendly divers. My friend’s phone fell into the canal. I texted recovery divers and 24h later their divers recovered the phone in less than 5 min. Can only recommend their services!! Kind people on top of it and a cool organisation behind it!!

Great service, good communication and timelyness.

It is really touching that this is done by a group of volunteers, that come from far away to dive and find lost things in the canal. It gave me such a good vibe to see how they do it, and it restored my faith in humanity, that they do it for fun, love for diving, and to see people happy! :)

As we were disembarking the Lovers Cruise Boat. My daughters phone fell into the water (canal) I could not look at her although she acted brave but the devastation was written on her face. Her school online interrupted, memories gone, no back up had been done, etc. A guilt I could not reconcile myself with. We got back to the hotel, little words said. She said to me its gone Ma there is nothing we can do. I sat on the bed, I googled and reddit stories were not encouraging. I came across this one story…the website of the private divers Recovery Divers. I started chatting to the person who responded. He (Jochem) promised to do his best to find me a diver. The diving could only be done at night after obtaining the permit from the police. He got back to me after an hour and told me he could not find any diver available. Moving it to today (Wed). I started losing hope coz another day going by, the slimmer the chances. I continued to pray for the best.

I reluctantly agreed. Getting through Wed was the hardest.
Early afternoon I had received a message that the divers were cleared for 21:30. At about 20:15 we went to the meeting spot. They at 20:45 said they had arrived with their equipment.
We went up to them and directed them to the spot where she disembarked. The canal is huge, long, deep abt 4 to 7mtrs, muddy & its at night. All the odds are against us. Reducing the chances of recovery.
Philip and Marja, the most amazing souls. Conducted a successful search coz at 22:20 they had found the phone. I wanted to hug the muddy & wet Philip. I was so grateful for such a professional team who knew what they were doing.

The diving team was so amazing. We had lost our expensive cell phone in the canals off Amsterdam. In a matter off minutes the team had managed to locate the phone. They were so respectable and professional. We couldn't thank yourll enough.

Recovery Divers are absolutely incredible!! I was traveling by myself in Amsterdam, and I dropped my phone in the canal on my 2nd day in Amsterdam! After contacting Recovery Divers, they came the very next and found my phone within minutes of entering the water! Jochem and the team are prompt, friendly, caring, and experts at finding lost items in the canals! I feel so beyond grateful for this team, and they made my trip so much easier and better! While in Amsterdam, I dropped my phone in the canal as we were getting on an evening canal cruise. It was the middle of our trip to Europe and all of our tickets and itinerary were on my phone. I was devastated! Recovery Divers were there the next day and recovered my phone! They placed it in a ziplock bag with silica packets and after 24 hours, my phone was dry and ready for use again!! Thank you for saving the day and our vacation!!

I dropped my phone into a gracht (canal) in Amsterdam. After I reached out to Recovery Divers via their website, a volunteer called me in about 15 minutes and arranged the recovery attempt for the next day. The volunteer told gave me more information about what the attempt would entail.

On the day of the attempt, two divers arrived, one to dive, one for safety. They arrived exactly on time and were both friendly and enthusiastic. After entering the muddy and essentially opaque water, the active diver found my phone in about three minutes! Amazing!

I hope to never drop something into the water again, but if I do, I would not hesitate to ask Recovery Divers for help.

Recovery divers were truly lifesavers. They recovered my phone that had fallen in the canal in a matter of minutes with a smile on his face! My phone contained very precious memories and I got it back. Very grateful, thank you guys!

Amazing experience from the beginning. The recovery team were quick to respond, even late on a Saturday evening. They were easy to work with and very professional. The dive was quick and they were able to recover my lost iPhone.
Would definitely recommend using these guys if you ever need something returned that has been lost in the canals.

Life itself writes the incdredible stories.

In October the wedding ring of my husband fell into the Amstel while he just was beating his pants off in front of a bench in the sun at the Swanenburgwal. We heard it hit the ground two more times, pling, pling, then it rolled over the edge into the water. He was quite shocked and we had no idea what to do.
The Guest Relations Manager from the NH Flower Market searched for a detector, contacted a loan service whos owner made the connection with the divers.

Jochem reacted immediately, made an appointment with us for the next noon and organised everything. 14 phone calls were necessary, then he would have a permit to dive in the canal.
Two men appeared punctually at the meeting point, both friendly and approachable. They unpacked their extensive equipment.One is responsible for security, one goes into the water. On the phone Jochem had promised a 100% finding rate and we were hopeful but sceptical. It didn't take him two minutes to find the ring, he was holding it up in the air on his finger. Wow!

We are very happy and grateful.

The divers have done their job to our complete satisfaction.
