Very poor indeed for recruiters.
We have used Gumtree for years to recruit nannies. They have now changed the site, and all of the changes are for the worse.
It is very user unfriendly (even logging on is a pain). It is much less versatile than before - you can't upload photos for example, which you used to be able to do - competitors allow you to upload videos, never mind photos! The correspondence management is non-existent. And it is 8 x more expensive than comparable competitors (£300 v £39!). Consequently we have received about 15% as many applications compared with 2 years ago.
Their customer service is also hopeless (they were unaware that the ability to upload photos had ben removed!!!)
Useless!
Steer clear and save your money.
