Extremely slow warranty process followed by pressure to remove honest reviews

I purchased a warranty from Redbarn and filed a claim for a furniture issue well within the coverage period. From the start, the process was frustrating and drawn out.

It took over three months from the time I filed the claim until someone was actually sent out.

During that time, I was repeatedly told that documentation or photos were missing, even though I had already submitted them. I was asked to resend the same information multiple times with no clear explanation as to why it was not being acknowledged.

When Redbarn finally sent their own technician, the visit resulted in no meaningful resolution. Despite the issue being ongoing and well documented, I was told there was “nothing wrong,” even though the furniture continued to fail.

After I shared my experience publicly in reviews, I was contacted by Redbarn and told to cease posting negative reviews. Rather than addressing the underlying issue or offering a resolution, the focus shifted to discouraging me from sharing my honest experience.

The combination of prolonged delays, poor communication, lack of resolution, and pressure to remove or stop negative feedback made this experience deeply disappointing. A warranty should provide peace of mind, and this did the opposite.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone considering a furniture warranty.
