Friendly and helpful service

Great service from Redcoat Leisure in helping me get an awning to fit my Nissan NV200. After initially trying an Easy Camp awning, I got their own brand Quickstop Rear Tailgate awning and it works a treat, just what I've been looking for. They were really helpful with advice and when exchanging the awnings and even called me after I'd got the awning with some after sales advice. Couldn't be happier.

Great idea but local dealers can't be trusted

Great idea but local dealers can't be trusted. I have had an absolute nightmare with their Hyde branch. They upsold me an RAC warranty then instead of taking responsibility for ongoing mechanical issues I had from the start, they sent me to their cronies who cashed in on the warranty with numerous claims, none of which resolved the original issue. In the process, they damaged my engine beyond reasonable repair and gas lit me that the issue isn't their responsibility because it was showing up as a 'new fault'. They completely side stepped my request to return the van and said the only thing they could offer was part exchange (at a very significant loss I might add). They also told me vans like this are likely to have mechanical issues and it's to be expected. There are countless other details I'm sparing you but TL;DR - they are absolutely not to be trusted. I'm currently looking at losing £14k on a vehicle that was never fit for purpose, when all I really wanted was to go on road trips and have a little fun. Shame because the kit is brilliant

This is the one to go with…

I researched self instal kits for my Berlingo online and decided upon Redcote, I’m glad I did…Quick and friendly customer services, parts come well packaged and extremely easy to fit. Quality is excellent, it converts quickly and easily from bedroom, to living room and then all packed away for the drive. I’ve only had it in a week and I’ve got a queue of friends (didn’t realise I actually had any until this came about) wanting to borrow the van for a little break.
