10/10 exceeded expectations. I went from two Infraredi Flex max panels to the TotalSpectrum Ultra. I was expecting it to be a small improvement but the difference is quite significant. You notice the additional beam angles, the higher intensity output, and the joyfully better user interface. I personally found the RLT home unit handled modulated frequency better - the infraredi panels made me ill (nauseous sort of motion sick) with most frequencies. The RLT home is doing the modulation better - not motion sick. The motorized stand is heavy duty, sturdy, and makes maneuvering the large panel much easier. Thank you RLT home.

His personable and attentive approach played a pivotal role in my decision to purchase a red light therapy panel from them during the Black Friday period. I appreciated even the small personable touch of him giving me a short call after the purchase and after a shipping mishap which I’ll get into later in this review.

I definitely had reservations about choosing a smaller, less known brand over more prominent competitors with plenty of fitness influencers and athletes endorsing their products. One of the factors that made me hesitate was that they didn’t have a local warehouse and production was in China (same as all the other competitors). They even had different electrical requirements to Canada (CE vs CSA). However, for those concerned about the product being manufactured in China, I would like to emphasize that the key factors lie in engineering, design, and quality control, rather than the location of production. For example, Apple iPhones are designed in the US but made in China. AJ's confidence-inspiring responses to my many questions and insightful guidance helped me make an informed choice.

My initial motivation for investing in a not-inexpensive red light therapy panel was to boost overall energy and experience the benefits of sunlight, especially during the cold winter months in Canada. After learning I had done a lot of my own research prior to reaching out to him, AJ really delved into the technical details, especially regarding the six different wavelengths that RLT panels offer, explaining their specific purposes and benefits. I felt that RLT was the best combination of price, technical specs, and customer service and pulled the trigger.
Upon receiving the product, the panel was unfortunately badly damaged during shipping. AJ swiftly addressed the situation, issuing an immediate replacement without any hassles. Additionally, AJ promptly refunded extra shipping costs that arose due to unforeseen UPS import fees. This level of customer support significantly contributed to a positive overall experience. The second (working) panel arrived shortly after.

As for the red light therapy panel itself, it appears robust and well-constructed. While I am overall pleased with its make, there are a few design suggestions for potential improvements. For instance,
1. the charging port should be oriented away from the power button would enhance convenience – the power cord is in an awkward position that it kind of blocks the on/off button.
2. I would also like the panels to be stackable, so if I wanted to get full body exposure while standing, I could buy another one to stack on top
3. I also understand it's proprietary information, but it would be nice to know the breakdown of wavelengths in each pre-programmed mode. If so, manual adjustments can also be made to tailor to preferences
4. I also don't use the voice control options and think they're an unnecessary added design feature - removing that would be worth the savings to be passed onto the customers

I'll be honest in that I'm not sure if the lamp really does anything substantial yet on a physical level - I haven't noticed any dramatic differences beyond a single day where I felt like I had an unlimited reservoir of energy – that could have been placebo, a great night of sleep, etc. I haven’t been able to replicate it since. I would like to think my energy levels have been a bit higher recently, but that may be placebo or bias. I typically use the fitness mode, which is stated to promote ATP generation and my wife likes to use the skin care mode, which helps with wrinkles, improves collagen production, etc.. We haven't noticed much of a difference yet, and honestly, the panel looks the exact same in both modes (except the timing is different), so we're not even sure how different each mode is, but during the experience, it's a nice warm feeling in front of the lamps. We keep the house pretty cold, but we can stay in front of the lamps with just our underwear pretty comfortably. We're electing to trust the process and hope this can ultimately be a gamechanger to our health, as we continue to approach health and fitness by stacking good habits, routines, exercise, food, etc.

Overall, I have no regrets going with RLT and this has been a net-positive experience.

I appreciated that the device operates without needing to connect to the internet. No unnecessary data collection or my health data being shared or sold. The range of modes is impressive, though I mostly stick to a couple of favorites. The voice control sometimes doesn't catch my commands on the first try, but it's a minor hiccup in an otherwise great experience. I must add that the support has been outstanding and not something you will see often. I was given a custom setting for my knees for deeper penetration and a custom pulse rate which I think has been very effective. Stairs are no longer a bother for me. I am loving my Red Light Mini! It is very solid state with 7 modes: Sleep optimization, skin care, elderly care, fat burning, fitness, muscle recovery, and inflammation mode. These all apply to me☺️ The voice command feature is really useful and fun! The stand is also very secure with the ability to tilt the light to the best angle.
