I have used Redollar twice and both times went very well. They reviewed my items within a day of receiving them. I was paid through Zelle and the money was in my bank account immediately. I was a bit skeptical first. I am happy that I tried them out.

I was very hesitant about selling my ring online however after reading positive reviews, I decided to move forward through the process. It turned out to be simple and much more profitable than selling to a local jeweler or pawnshop. The staff at reDollar provided excellent communication throughout the process. After we agreed on the price, there were several ways provided to forward me the money. I have already told others interested in selling their gold jewelry that they should use reDollar.

Too good to be true? Too simple to function? Too eager for your business to take seriously? I thought that and more thinking this had to be a scam. But I needed to sell off some old US dollar silver coins and redollar kept coming up. I kept thinking it was too good to be true — they provide a prepaid mailing slip or a free shipping kit (if your valuables are worth more than $250). But I figured “they’re just coins. If it ends up being a scam then no real harm done.” After filling out my info on their website, I got an immediate email requesting an image of the items I wanted to sell. I took pictures and sent them off. I was given a tentative overview quote on what I should expect to be paid. I felt comfortable moving forward with my sale so I requested the shipping slip. Sent it off the next day. Got an email when it was received and another email after their lab inspected my items (they even detail their weight and methods used to authenticate them). Then I was given my exact quote and given the option to move forward to payment if I satisfied with the price or deny, in which case they would return my items no questions asked. I was happy with the quote so I moved forward. They have many payment options like Zelle or PayPal, but I despides for ACH direct deposit. I received my payment the next business day, bright and early. Now that I know they’re legit, I will be using them again for my gold items — I’m hoping they’ll give me more than my local pawn shop.

Although I was a bit hesitant selling gold online, they are well worth it. Having gone to local shops, etc. NO need to do that, their price was superior and infact what I thought was the weight per my scale was actually a bit heavier then I stated and they noted that and paid for that, bid for spot was for 7 days. I received my funds the day they received my package, today, took 2 days shipping. Quick, professional, answered my questions and would STRONGLY and HIGHLY recommend them plus free insured shipping. Only get one shot to sell your asset, pick them.

I used them twice. For gold they provide a fair price, but not for diamonds.

I looked high and low for a company that would tell me exactly what they would pay me for my precious metal items. None would (frankly most did not answer my inquiries). reDollar did. This is a highly professional, highly able company. I also like the way they have experts you can email with specific questions who give prompt and very specific answers.

As a metal detectorist for 10 years, I've never sold any of my dug up finds. I typically just put the nicer items in a display case in my home. I have used redollar on a number of occasions and they have always been fast, honest and fair. On my first submission of precious metals they immediately sent me a scale to allow me to carry with me should I be out and about looking for Gold, Silver and/or Platinum. They also have made me aware when I had purchased and sent to them fake "silver" dollars -they even paid me for the fakes to use as an example! They provide the free ship label - you send they respond ASAP and money in bank less than 24 hours!

I had some gold to sell and went to a local buyer that I previously had sold silver to. After getting their quote, I decided to investigate online options.

When I came across the reDollar site, what struck we was the calculator, which showed me what I could expect to receive, assuming my gold was 14K, as I believed it was. I was reassured to proceeds knowing that my shipment to them was insured, and that I could pass on their offer and my gold would be returned.

I requested a shipping kit, and they informed me that I could save time by printing out the label, following their packing instructions and dropping it off at a UPS store. Using my calculation and weight (from a digital kitchen scale), my package was insured for the expected payout.

Long story short, the package got to them in a couple of days, they analyzed the gold, sent me the analysis report, and made an offer. The offer was close to exactly what the estimate from the online calculator determined. It was close to 30% more than I had been offered.

I used the chat feature on the website to get instructions on how to tell them my payment preference and provide the bank information. That was all done through a secure upload portal - a nice and reassuring touch. I got an email indicating that my money will hit my bank on the first business day after today.

Too often, the process of selling metals or coins feels uncomfortable due to the buyer never quite being open about how they calculate what they will pay. It feels a bit sleazy, or, at the very least, opaque. That was not the case with reDollar. Their communication is quick and accurate and you know where you are in the selling process at all times. The only negative was that I left two voice messages to talk to someone but never got a call back. This was somewhat overcome by the chat feature being staffed by humans and very responsive.

All in all, this was a great experience and I will definitely use them again. I have already informed friends and family members about reDollar.
