I was very much looking forward to a nice relaxing week at the beach. The day before our departure I fell, broke my left arm, tore the meniscus in my right knee, and cut my face, leaving me totally immobilized. There was no choice but to cancel the trip. The claim process online was easy enough, but required a lot of scanning in of documents and submitting. After everything was submitted a 2nd request for more documentation to be filled out by the physician was required. That then had to be gotten to the proper area of the hospital, filled out, returned to me and then submitted. After that, the time frame of approval and receiving compensation was speedy.
