I use RedTeam on a daily basis to find out project information and updates for marketing purposes. Having a real-time tool that allows what we're accomplishing on the jobsite daily to transfer over to our office staff is priceless!

We love RedTeam

We love RedTeam! We are a general contractor and we find that RedTeam works seamlessly with Quickbooks Online. It keeps all of our "Billed to Date/Revenue" and "Cost to Date/COGS" organized by the job, which comes in handy for our WIP schedule and taxes every year. They provide lots of training videos, and best of all, an instant "chat" that you can access anytime to ask questions, and get immediate answers. RedTeam keeps our submittals and plans organized. We are so glad we went with RedTeam!

Things

It has some pretty good features, but there are a lot of little things that drive me up a wall. Really if they could make it 10% better I would love it, but as of now it is a chore to use.

Pleased with Red Team

I am a site superintendent. Our company uses Red Team. I find I am able in real time to communicate with our team and the customers team which is valuable. It is useful to have one program for all your construction needs.

Actual cost column needs to mix committed costs with invoices

It is really difficult to analyze the cost without a committed column. I can't analyse the total cost with just the actual cost because a total contract of plumbing per example is 50k but if I just upload their first invoice of 50% I will see just 25k in the actual cost. But we need to have a column that matches the committed proposals with the actual costs.

Great Customer Service!

As with any software, there are glitches and hiccups, but what I like the most is that I can turn to Red Team immediately to inquire about and resolve the glitches and hiccups. We've been using Red Team for 2 years now and we are totally satisfied. There are improvements that we would like to see, but the staff at Red Team, from the top down, are open to hearing from their customers and taking our requests into consideration. Anytime there is a problem, their chat team is AMAZING to work with and issues are resolved quickly. I think Red Team is intuitive and user-friendly. Their integration with QuickBooks is seamless. If a problem does arise, again, the Chat staff is knowlegeable, friendly, and quick to find a resolution.

Poor CRM functionality.

In my role (Business Development), I primarily use RedTeam's CRM (Opportunities) section. The primary reason for my relatively poor review is the inability to perform simple customization, such as enabling the "start date field" to be viewed & sorted on the primary Opportunities page. It was not listed as a field to select even though the field existed within the individual opportunity. We submitted a ticket for the simple change, but was told it would be months before it could be implemented.
